(AAA) Scranton/WB (35-21) beat Rochester 6-3: Box Score - Recap

PITCHING: Jeff Marquez got the start and the win (4-6). Marquez went 6 innings giving up 3 runs, only 1 earned, on 10 hits. He had 2 K's- with 2 walks, 1 intentional. Marquez gave up a solo homer in the 1st to give Rochester a 1-0 lead. ... In the 2nd, 2 unearned runs scored to make the score Rochester 3-0. Marquez worked out of a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the 5th inning. Marquez had 10 groundouts and 4 flyouts.

Billy Traber pitched a scoreless 7th inning giving up 1 hit. ... J.B. Cox pitched a scoreless 8th inning. Cox gave up a single and got a doubleplay. Cox has yet to allow a run in 8.1 innings and only 3 hits (1 infield). ... Scott Patterson pitched a scoreless 9th, allowing 1 hit, to pick up his 3rd save.
