First base coach - Mick Kelleher
Third base coach - Rob Thomson
Bench coach - Tony Pena
Pitching coach - Dave Eiland
Hitting coach - Kevin Long
Bullpen coach - Mike Harkey
I still think Kevin Long needs to go, but besides that I like the staff.

Long's a loser.
Mike
I thought they would fire him last season but cash and joe love the guy. Cano struggled, melky struggled, almost all year, at the plate.
Melky is not a major league hitter. Cano was a .300 hitter after May, and even better after Long reccomended he closed his stance. All of the players love and praise him. Dave Eiland is the one who needs to go.
Amen Anon, Amen
What has Eiland done wrong?
The fact that Hughes and IPK can't stop struggling?
Wang's sudden unWang like slump?
Don't you think the pressure may have caught up with Hughes and Kennedy? Plus as we all know, young pitchers struggle. And it was Eiland who coached them in the minors and they seemed to do just fine there.
Also Wang, like most pitchers gets into a funk every now and then. Even so, Wang was 8-2 with a 4.07 ERA, which isn't so bad.
I really don't think Eiland was a problem at all, but I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first (or last) time
Maybe it's a combination of Eiland being overruled and Giradi being a controll freak and interferring. Torre pretty much let Mel do his thing with the pitchers.
