Jeter Leaves Game With Tight Hamstring (Updated)

UPDATE (7:15 pm): After the game Joe Girardi had this to say about Jeter's hammy: “We won’t really know more until tomorrow. He got hit in the back of the hamstring, and it stiffened up, so we said we’ll take you out, get some ice on it and see how it feels tomorrow.”

As if this team needed any more of this crap..... Derek Jeter left today's game after a single in the seventh with tightness in his left hamstring. Earlier in the game he was hit on the area by Indians starter Mitch Talbot, and didn't look too good running to first on the single. I'm sure he'll be fine and back in the lineup soon.
