Oh No! Pettitte Leaves Game With Stiff Elbow (Updated)

(Updated) According to Chad Jennings, Pettitte's MRI "revealed mild inflammation of his left elbow. It will be treated conservatively and will be evaluated on a daily basis at this point."

Earlier in the day, Brian Cashman said he expects Pettitte to miss one start.
....

From Bryan Hoch:
Andy Pettitte left today's start after five innings due to stiffness in his elbow. He's having a MRI.
And here's a quote from Pettitte via Chad Jennings:
“Any time you’re talking about the area around the elbow, you start to worry a little bit,” Pettitte said through a team spokesman. “I think it’ll be fine, but I’ll more a lot more when the MRI results come back.”
Yikes, that makes three of the Core Four that are now dealing with some sort of injury. The Yankees got lucky with Mariano and Jorge, let's hope that whatever is bothering Pettitte isn't anything major.
