Alfredo Aceves did long toss today and is scheduled to throw a bullpen this week. “We’ve had more positive news this time,” Girardi said.

- Javier Vazquez has faced the Indians 16 times, and in those games he's 7-5, with a 4.40 ERA. Nine of those starts came in Cleveland, where he's 4-3, with a 3.98 ERA.
