Pettittle Leaves Game With Strained Groin

(UPDATE 3:01 PM) The Yankees announced that Pettitte left the game with a left groin strain. Remember, Granderson missed a month with a strained groin, although that was a grade 2 strain. Not sure what level of a strain this is, but this is not good news. I sure wish the Yankees had made that deal for Cliff Lee now.

Andy Pettitte left today's game in the top of the third inning after looking like may have pulled something while throwing a pitch. More info to come as the Yankees release it, but this doesn't look good. Let's just hope the heat was causing him to cramp up.
