- A-Rod is out with a sore right knee and will go for a precautionary MRI. Joe Girardi believes the knee is the cause of A-Rod's recent power drought.

- Swish sits because of a sore quad.

- Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera will sit out the all star game. I assume A-Rod will end up doing the same. (UPDATE 5:45 PM) A-Rod has indeed withdrawn from the All-Star Game as well.

- Brian Gordon was released.

- A ton of rain is in the forecast, so it looks like this one could be rained out.
