Kei Igawa got the start for the Yanks, and didn't pitch too well. He lasted just 3.1 innings and gave up four runs on five hits and three walks. If Igawa had pitched well he probably would have made the 25-man roster as a long man, but as of now that's still up in the air. ... Jeff Karstens pitched 1.1 innings, and gave up no runs on one hit, but left the game with what appeared to be a hamstring injury. ... Scott Patterson continues to dominate. He pitched a perfect 1.1 innings. ... Ross Ohlendorf and Brian Bruney both pitched scoreless innings.
NOTES: (Thank you Derek for bringing this to my attention.)

Greg, I think its time you posted these lines for the world to see.
I've worked at this thing all march. Not one time have I been proven wrong.
You dont even have to credit it to me. Just let this be known. I think we're past coincidence now.
And as a kicker, add this...
They showed Arod's walkoff against B-more last year, Igawa started that game, gave up 5 runs in 3 innings.. shades on.
That game against Boston when he came in and shut it down? No shades.
Its been great. Thanks for listening.
Hahahahah, I'm gonna add this to the game summary. I'm sorry I forgot, I didn't even realize he was wearing the shades.
ReplyDeletesorry greg. they didnt show that during the game... I wish they did cause it would mean someone else picked up on it other than you and myself.
ReplyDeleteI saw the game a few days ago on yankees classics on YES, and did some research to find out about the boston game.
Can we sneak a question into cashman on pete abe's Q&A, since he said he didnt finish yet? I'd LOVE to hear what cash would say when presented with these numbers
