Stick around and discuss the game
as it happens in the comments section.
o boy, here's one of those "trap" series. Right after the Sox series, they seem alittle dead right now, just like they were saying right before the 3 run homer. And thers another one....
ReplyDeleteWell they're off to a great start. 4-0 already, and Jeter is already killing any rally the Yankees get with DPs. He now has a team-leading 16.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awful game, everything that can go wrong, has. Pathetic.
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is going on? Now Robertson stinks all of a sudden.
ReplyDeletemaybe they ate some bad cheese
ReplyDeletelol, that might be it...
ReplyDeleteBut one good thing; that was a great job by Girardi there to give Robertson some confidence with that talk they had. I'm not kidding. The way Robertson reacted was as if to say "thank you" to Girardi. I'm sure he said something like "don't worry, just forget this, we still have faith in you." That sort of thing.
I agree Greg, it's one of the things Girardi truly excels at. He really shows players he has confidence in them, regardless of a bad performance here or there.
ReplyDeleteWell the Rays and Sox lost, too bad the Twins seem to have their game in the bag, we're now tied with them in 2nd place in the Wild Card.
ReplyDeletegreat, now they look like shit. It can happen so fast. Rasner tomorrow is no guarantee. Why do we always play like shit vs. the Orioles? We should sweeping teams like this. Come on. If we lose this series than we have to win 3 out 4 vs the Angels, which is almost impossible given how play against the them.
