Notes: Girardi almost took my advice, but for some reason he's keeping Betemit in the line and the dead arm behind the plate. At least Melky is where he should be, on the bench.
Yanks vs. Mendoza
The Yankees have never faced Mendoza . . . Uh oh.

THE GIAMBINO!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was a huge hit for this team. An quick inning for Ponson would also be nice.
ReplyDeletethat lead was gone quick. can we win a damn game?
ReplyDeletethat lead was gone quick. can we win a damn game?
ReplyDelete1st and 2nd with nobody out for the Yanks here, should be interesting to see if they can at least get a run in... 1st and 2nd 1 out now.
ReplyDelete... And Captain double play strikes again. Unbelievable.
ReplyDeletemr doubleplay strikes again. Was the last time he got a big hit when we swept that 5 game series in Boston acouple of year ago? He got old and average quick.
ReplyDeleteHe has been awful. He can't lift the ball at all. Everything he hits is on the ground.
ReplyDeletethat could have been his 2nd of the day if Kinsler didnt screw up the first one, which led to the grand slam.
ReplyDeleteYep, he now leads the team with 11.
ReplyDeletemaybe they should strip him of "captain" and give it to someone else to wake his ass up. in years past when we lost he looked pissed, like he wanted to kill someone. Back 3 years (I think), they sucked against Milwaukee and St. Louis and he was grinding his teeth in the dugout, paceing back in forth with anger in eyes. I havent seen that fire from him in a while. The new captain- Posada or Mariano.
ReplyDeletewe need an A-Bomb.
ReplyDeleteRunner on 2nd nobody out, this should be interesting. ...
ReplyDeletelet see, maybe there will be an unexpected twist.( scoring)
ReplyDeleteyeah baby! let the stache lead the way!
ReplyDeleteAnother huge hit by Giambi. Nice 2-run double the other way.
ReplyDeleteinsurance! this guy sucks, finally we hit someone we should.
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.
ReplyDeletedo this more often!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed.
ReplyDeleteyou see the fucking Rays! shit they mean business. we need to kick the Sox when they're down, and show the Rays the seasons not over yet. These next 6 games are very very important. after losing this series we nedd to go at least 4-2, if not 5-1.
ReplyDeleteYea, you're right on both counts, we do need to beat the Sox while they're struggling, and we need start winning.
