Sidney Ponson (6-2, 4.59 ERA)
ANGELSErvin Santana (11-5, 3.57 ERA)
Notes: Why is Wilson Betemit playing first tonight? The guys is 0-for-3 with 2 strikeouts against Santana. The guy doesn't deserve to be on the team, forget about getting actual playing time. ... After last night's rough outing Chris Britton was sent back to Scranton, and Brian Bruney has been called up. He has been out since April 22nd with a lisfranc fracture of his right foot.

Stick around and discuss the game
as it happens in the comments section.
Why on earth would they ever sit Nady? Sit Abreu and move Nady to RF for a game if you have to in order to get others playing time. But don't sit Nady. Esp. if it would mean Betemit is in the line-up otherwise, like today, most unfortunately.
ReplyDeletestupid. Nady >>>>>>> Betemit
ReplyDeleteId rather have Sexson play 1st. Hes just as likely to homer as to K against Santana ( look at his career #'s vs him)
ReplyDeleteI really don't understand how this guy still plays.
ReplyDeleteWe winnin' tonight! I'm calling it.
ReplyDeletei'm getting SICK of betemit
ReplyDeleteanon 1,
ReplyDeleteI like your optimism.
anon 2,
So am I.
nice job guys, if you want to beat the Angels you have to hit with RISP.
ReplyDeleteand who the hell is that P.A Announcer? No Bill Hall? Any word on Bob Sheppard?
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine just asked me the same thing, I can't tell who it is.
ReplyDeleteIs there anyone on this team that can bunt a runner over?
ReplyDeleteHitting and running is obviously never an option.
Can anyone on this team step up and get a big hit?
ReplyDeleteAnyone?
Oh no, not Mo in a non save situation.
ReplyDeleteLOL, was thinking the same thing.
ReplyDeleteWell you were right, 1-0 Angels, and counting. It may be the time to stop using Mo in these spots. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteAnother painful loss. I hate the Angels.
ReplyDeleteThis is disgusting. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteIt really is. I'm starting to get fed up with this team.
ReplyDeleteyou are not the only one greg cohen i feel so frustrated with this team first they win 8 games and now all they are doing is finding ways to lose and this team is going to fall apart
