The Yankees will call up Ian Kennedy to start Saturday in place of Joba Chamberlain, sources told Suzyn Waldman of WCBS.Kennedy would likely have a chance of sticking in the rotation once Chamberlain returns, but he'll have to perform well.
For AAA Scranton Kennedy is 4-2 with a 2.14 ERA, and in 46.1 IP he's allowed 29 hits, 11 earned runs, walked 13 and struck out 38.
Hopefully he can give the Yanks a lot more than he did in April when he went 0-3 with a 7.41 ERA.

Add all that up and it spells disaster. I had conceding the season but come on....its not looking bright right now.
