Stick around and discuss the game
as it happens in the comments section.
damn if we would have come all the way back yesterday we probably would have been able to catch the rays, it would have put us at 9 back and possible 8 now, because they just lost to toronto, who is only 1 game behind us. finishing 4th would be much more embarrasing, 3rd is already really bad. but i could have seen a rays collapse if they blew it yesterday. i still think the f*cking red sox will win the division, and some how pull another world series out of their ass.( they should not have won it in either 2004, or 2007)
ReplyDeleteYea yesterday was huge. When people say the Yankees need to win every game, they truly mean EVERY GAME.
ReplyDeleteI agree about finishing fourth, the would really suck. It's very important that the Yanks play tough and at least hang around in the standings.
I also think the Sox will take the division.
This series is an unexcuseable must sweep, I mean if we can't sweep one of the most garbage teams in the majors we should just look forward to next year. Also, why is it that it took so long for the braintrust to finally realize that Darrell Rasner is ass cheeks and this move should've been made along time ago.
ReplyDeleteThe harsh reality is that every series is a must sweep, I know that's nearly impossible, but this is what happens when you're 7.5 out with 22 to play.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, they should be able to be this crap team.
I have no idea why it took so long, the Yankees lost five of the last six games he starter, I wonder how many of those games they could have saved themselves if they had made this decision sooner.
Come on Andy, it's the fucking Mariners.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe he's getting hit this hard by a team this bad. What a joke. And of course on the day I defend him, and say we should resign him.
ReplyDeleteFor the record I still feel that way.
What a shitty performance from Andy, and this may finally and completely kill the Yankees hopes. Not that they had much life anyway. Thanks Andy.
ReplyDelete3-0 is doable, they could come back from that, but he's gotta hold them right here.
ReplyDeleteWell that is if they can figure out how to hit Morrow.
ReplyDeleteEven if their chances are slim the fact that it is the last season in this stadium is enough reason to watch
ReplyDeleteHey Jon,
ReplyDeleteYea, I'm gonna keep watching, I wouldn't feel good about myself if I didn't.
Hey What's up
ReplyDeleteLoal fans should. There more games you watch the more insight you have anyways
loyal...
ReplyDeleteI'll tell you guys this, if they get no-hit by this fucking team I'm NOT watching another game all year. FUCKING SHIT THIS TEAM BLOWS.
ReplyDeletehaha its only the fifth theyll get some hits...
ReplyDeleteBecause we have no braintrust. Cashman is a moron who has accomplished nothing. Pettitte stinks. What's he pitched, 5 good games for us this year? He hasn't done anything for us in almost 10 years. ANother pathetic signing by the "braintrust".
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? He was good for the entire first half, and has struggled as the season has gone on. Did you ever think that his turbulent off-season may be catching up with him?
this is kind of a sad showing at the moment ... watch a rod come through here
ReplyDeleteWow no hits through 7.... PATHETIC.
ReplyDeleteichiro suzuki's sister went to my college she was a grade below me
ReplyDeleteDid you know/meet her?
ReplyDeletepettite is doing ok 3 runs aint bad its just the total lack of offense
ReplyDeletecan someone please get a fuckin ghit. we're already the laughing stock of baseball. after the 3rd inning it felt like we might get no hit. its bad enough losing to the mariners, but getting no hit. i havent read the other comments, but isnt this his first major league start? i know he was a reliever for most of the year.
ReplyDeleteyeah i knew here a little she lived next to my ex one year
ReplyDeletebut people would tell me she was ichiros sister and i didnt know who ichiro was at the time so i took it for granted
ReplyDeleteYes Dan this is his first career start.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jon, Pettitte has settled down very nicely in this game. He's actually done a pretty good job. Too bad they can't get a hit, or four or five runs.
its crazy to me how they are hitless at the moment
ReplyDeleteI agree... maybe nady will come through here
ReplyDeleteI know I may be too overly optimistic here, but if this team can get a runner on base they can get into the pen and maybe win this game. Come on Yanks, do something.
ReplyDeleteAND Matsui swings at ball four...
At least he took ball 5.
ReplyDeleteThey should send up Gardner and have him bunt for a single. Fuck Morrow.
ReplyDeleteDamn it Cano just missed that.
ReplyDeletecano was close there...
ReplyDeleteYes!
ReplyDeleteFinally. Good job Wilson.
ReplyDeletethank god! now we can actually think about winning the game. come on, if betemit can hit him, anyone can!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAH FUCK YOU MORROW HAHAHAHHA NO NO-NO FOR YOU!
ReplyDeletewilson was zoned in on that pitch
ReplyDeletedammit that was an important at bat... here comes hi clutchness ales rodriguez
ReplyDeletehis clutchness
ReplyDeleteWhat the fuck was he doing swinging at the first pitch? FUCKING A-FRAUD.
ReplyDeleteYea I don't understand it either, he needed to be patient there.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's that.... 8.5 out, ugh.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments, good night people.
and his last at bat too remember that half assed swing? he looked like a tired kindergartener
