The Yanks have been and always will be a first class organization so I wouldn't expect anything less for opening day next year.
If you've been to opening days at the current place you have an idea of what I'm talking about. So I guess we should expect that plus a little more being that it's a new stadium. Besides that I have no idea what to expect.
I have never been to an opening day. My Parents take me to a game in the summar once a year. This year I saw the game when sir sir sidney pitched very well against the angels. Too bad mo blew it.
i can't wait for that first exhibition game!!! why you ask? because i have to go to a wedding in florida and i wont be here for opening day! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
The first image isn't doctored or photoshopped, it's just an evening shot with a long exposure. You can see that it's either night (or dusk) and a lot of the internal/work lights are on.
It's looking beautiful. I love how it's a bit more "open" feeling by the scoreboard area. Comparing to YS now, it feels less like a big wall, and more like an actual scoreboard.
If the yankees get CC, Burrnet, and Peavy, I wounder who would star opening day at the new stadium? If Moose comes back, then it would probably be him.

ReplyDeleteYou can get those tix for face value if you buy them when they go on sale. It's tough, but I've been able to get them at face value a few times.

My dad was a big fan of both Ron and Bobby. He was sad when booby died. He didn't care when the yanks lost 6-2.
