News & Notes

The Yanks made some moves today: Anthony Claggett, Phil Hughes and Steven Jackson were optioned to Scranton. Humberto Sanchez was optioned to Trenton. And Jason Johnson and Sergio Mitre were reassigned to minor-league camp.

Hughes - 2.19 ERA, 12.1 I.P, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 7 BB, 8 K
Claggett - 1.13 ERA, 8 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K
Jackson - 2.57 ERA, 7 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 6 K
Johnson - 3.38 ERA, 2.2 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 0 K

Sanchez and Mitre have not pitched.
