Stick around and discuss the game
as it happens in the comments section.
Looking forward to see how Wang pitches today
ReplyDeleteMe too. Kinda funny that it's against the Astros since they were the team he pitched against last.
ReplyDeleteSo is Cody Ransom at short to simulate Derek Jeter's poor range for Wang? I'm just saying I thought we signed Berroa because he was a defensive upgrade over Ransom, even though Ransom is the better bat.
ReplyDeleteSince Jeter and all the other players are at thw WBC, now we can see Ransom and Barroa fighting for the bench roll.
ReplyDeleteWait a sec, isn't it interleague play? That would put Wang in the order and would take the DH (Posada) out.
ReplyDeleteAccording to Bryan Hoch, the Yankees lobbied to have a DH today.
ReplyDeleteHow is that possible?
ReplyDeleteNot sure, I guess cause it's spring, the 'Stros aren't being too anal about it.
ReplyDeleteHere's what Bryan Hoch had to say:
"Good news. The Yankees lobbied to have the DH today in Kissimmee, Fla., Mickey Mouse's backyard of 10,000 pawn shops, so Wang won't get anywhere near first base unless he's covering it."
thanks
ReplyDeleteOn MLB.com it says the Astros/Yankees game is supended.
ReplyDeleteThats stupid. It's only sring training. If they got to the 9th inning, they should just call it a game.
ReplyDeleteThey won't suspend a ST game. They'll just quit after 9 if the game can't be played any more.
