Stick around and discuss the game
as it happens in the comments section.
They better not stink today.
ReplyDeleteI think the Yanks will tee off against Uehara. Just a gut instinct.
ReplyDeleteWang:
6.1 innings
5 hits
3 runs (2 earned)
2 walks
5 k's
7-4 Yanks.
I'd sign up for that.
ReplyDeleteCorrect me if I'm wrong but don't the Yankees generally struggle against pitchers they have never seen before? I have a horrible feeling that is what is going to happen today.
ReplyDeleteYea that's true Joe. Hopefully tonight things are different.
ReplyDeleteHopefully Wang has his ace stuff tonight.
ReplyDeleteHe sucks.
ReplyDeleteOh no not Hitler again.
ReplyDeleteGreat, Wang can't get the damn ball down.
ReplyDeleteYup.... hopefully he fixes that soon.
ReplyDeleteFuck!
ReplyDeleteoh boy...
ReplyDeleteEverything is belt high or higher.
ReplyDeleteBuh bye Girardi. Nice knowing you. Hopefully you will gone ASAP. His lineup stinks, he still can't manage a bullpen and he gets nothing out of his players.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous,
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about?
What am I talking about? You dont see it? This team is the same as last year....under Girardi. No spark, no fire, no nothing. Dead weight. Girardi is not a good fit at all. I wanted Girardi bad too and was very excited when we signed him but fuggetaboutit. He's terrible.
ReplyDeleteMy prediction is he will be gone by All-Star break. And, his BP management in the first game was a joke just like last year. For some reason, surely not based on facts, he thinks Damaso Marte is good. Same for Cashman. This FO didn't do anythign to improve all of its problems last year. Cashman improved the starting pitching but he did not improve the defense, hitting with RISP, etc....save Tex.
And, explain to me where Girardi came up with this lineup and other decisions like Nady/Swisher? It is pure garbage. Simply, there is no incentive to do well in spring training. His decisions weren't based on merit.
Wow, relax man. You might want to give it more than 11 innings.
ReplyDeleteI am perfectly relaxed. But, this is the same boring-non-chalant-team as last year. And, they still can't hit with RISP. Its a broken record.
ReplyDeleteAnd, this team can't wait. They simply can NOT start off like they have the last few years. They have no excuses if they lose two to the awful Baltimore team especially with CC and Wang starting. That's pathetic.
what I miss?
ReplyDelete/me hits espn
LOL!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone seen the photo of ARod on the front page of ESPN right now?!
"He's A-Rod, dammit. I'm prepared for anything."
ReplyDeletePriceless line.
http://sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=4050462
WTF? Why are the Yankees down by 2?
lol nice pic Alex.
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteWhy are they down two? Wang was leaving the ball up for the entire first inning.
ReplyDeletehey guys.. if you wanna talk yankee baseball join www.nyyankeefans.com/forums its a great site.. i like that one and greg's site here the best for yankee baseball
ReplyDeleteAgain, this team can't hit with RISP. But, but, but, all of our problems will be fixed when Matsui comes back or when Posada is healthy...blah blah blah.
ReplyDeleteAnd, what do you mean that our outfield is set, Michael Kay? Why the hell is Girardi so set on Xavier Nady?
honestly I love ARod, I think he makes the world fun. From these photos, to chewing the inside of his mouth threw the whole steroid interview with Gammons, to being busted for making it with that cougar Madonna. I'm in it for the lolz, and ARod delivers.
ReplyDeleteI said if they lose two games not down by two runs....
ReplyDeleteHay guys. Hitler, how did u get your name blue.
ReplyDeleteAnony is trolling for nyyankeefans - theres a good reason to not hit that site.
ReplyDeleteURL.
ReplyDeleteThanks Hitler.
ReplyDeleteGuess what? I might be getting my own site!!!
Teixeira is so good.
ReplyDeleteHey Liam, when, what r u gonna call it?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure when i'm going to get it and i'm not sure what to call it. What I am sure is the site will be about the Yankees.
ReplyDelete"Liam Gallagher said...
ReplyDeleteHay guys. Hitler, how did u get your name blue."
he put in a url with his name, like this
Good for liam.
ReplyDeleteNice, good luck with it Liam.....
ReplyDeleteGET THE DAMN BALL DOWN WANG!!!
Nice Will.
ReplyDeleteHitler, you seem nicer tonight for some reason.
HE GOT A GROUND BALL!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Anon, I agree that Swisher should start.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Hitler, kinda dull.
ReplyDeleteI know. Bye.
ReplyDeleteBye Hitler.
ReplyDeleteI think I know what to call my site. Yankee Universe.
hey guys... wtf is going on with the yankees. they looked AMAZING in spring training..
ReplyDeleteDamn it, I can't figure out how to search Getty by Photographer, I wanted to see what else Alexander Tamargo might have in that ARod santa series - it was a boys and girls club benefit it seems.
ReplyDeleteThat O's rotation is horrendous. I thought Uehara would be better.
ReplyDeleteI know Dan. The Yankees just suck in April.
ReplyDeleteHey Dan,
ReplyDeleteI dunno, I think they just need a big inning. You know how baseball is.
hahaha - sweet - prepare for lolz
ReplyDeleteThat name already exists for a blog.
ReplyDeletedamn.. shoulda been a HR..
ReplyDeleteNice! I thought that was gone.
ReplyDeleteRANSOM BABY!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm still thinking of one daneptizl. Just give me a little time.
ReplyDeleteOh ya. If any of you have any suggestions for a name that would be a big help. Thanks
ReplyDeletewish I could upload fotos here. Click my name. Just adorable.
ReplyDeleteHow about red sox nation.
ReplyDeletehahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteNICE WILL!
ReplyDeleteNo Hitler.
He's still at it with the frosting of his hair.
ReplyDeleteOk liam. How about Yankee bitch talk.
ReplyDelete"How about red sox nation"
ReplyDeleteHeh!
This is a huge inning for Wang.
ReplyDeleteum............HELL NO HITLER!
ReplyDeleteI know Greg.
ReplyDeleteWang's velocity is actually down. But he probably just needs to keep throwing and it'll come back.
ReplyDeleteTamargo was not kind. LOL. this is the full image thats on ESPN. great cropping at ESPN.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least the guy making $400k can hit, right Cashman? Friggin moron.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Wang stinks tonight. What is his excuse? Too cold, too hot, too blue, too smelly. And, great decision by Girardi not to keep a long reliever. Under Girardi, spring training was for naught....
Click on my name.
ReplyDeleteHAI GUYS!
ReplyDelete@Hitler HAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteMOAR! Ball in pooper!
Excuse my language, but this team fucking sucks under Girardi. Same old garbage.
ReplyDeleteIt's two games.
ReplyDeleteThis is the worst site that u will ever see.
ReplyDeleteClick on my name.
The whole santa series is here, there are some other good ones. Worth bookmarking for future lolz
ReplyDeleteHitler you'll like this too
ReplyDeleteWang is just being a good teammate. He wanted to help ease the tension on Sabathia by taking the attention off him. I have newfound respect for Wang.
ReplyDeleteThis is for you Hitler.
ReplyDeleteWell that sucked.
ReplyDeleteRight Dane, that's it.
ReplyDeletefield day in the press tomorrow.
ReplyDelete7-1.
ReplyDelete☻/
ReplyDelete/▌
/ \ I just found out this is Bob.
wow man.. were probably gonna get swept
ReplyDeleteBoy that Girardi sure can manage can't he? He decides to get someone up AFTER it is 7-1. BRILLIANT! What a fucking moron. He can't manage, he can't make a lineup, he can't put players in the proper position to succeed, he can't manage a BP or a game. He's absolutely useless.
ReplyDeleteTHATS NOT NICE LIAM.
ReplyDeleteI can also watch Lost without having to go back to the Yankees now.
ReplyDeleteThe Yankees need three runs.
ReplyDeleteTex gets his first hit here.
ReplyDeleteTex is getting anxious. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteYep. Kay was right for once, Teixeira really needs to take a deep breath and relax.
ReplyDeleteYou can tell Matsui wants to big fly his old teammate.
ReplyDeletef*ck this team were done, maybe 2010 we will win
ReplyDeleteDone?
ReplyDeleteAfter two games?
You can't be serious.
lol. The Machine takes a while to get oiled up and start working at all cylinders(V-8)
ReplyDeleteAll they need is one good pitching performance.
ReplyDeleteThey could go 0-6 and I still wouldn't be worried.
ReplyDeleteRamirez still can't trust his fastball.
ReplyDeleteIf they go 0-6 but lose by 5 or more runs each time, then I think it's safe to worry.
ReplyDeleteI'll give you that, Drew.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I didn't mean that to be as dick as it sounded.
ReplyDeleteLet's just hope it doesn't get to that point.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they can do something here and make a game of this.
It didn't sound that bad Drew.
ReplyDeleteHey Hitler, your racist klan from up north also sucks.
ReplyDeletehttp://espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=290408102
There's a run. Cano's really swinging the bat well.
ReplyDeleteThere's a run. Cano's really swinging the bat well.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't even close to sounding bad. Maybe if you add some e-ttidute to it...
ReplyDeleteThere bullpen sucks, this game isn't over yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving what I'm seeing from Cano... you can see how he is more selective at the plate.
ReplyDeleteRansom has to get this run in.
ReplyDelete... so much for that.
ReplyDeleteCan anyone on this fucking team get a clutch hit?
ReplyDeleteWE SUCK.
ReplyDeleteThat was awful.
ReplyDeleteWE SUCK.
ReplyDeleteWE SUCK.
ReplyDeleteWE SUCK.
ReplyDeleteWE SUCK.
ReplyDeleteWE SUCK.
ReplyDeleteWe got your point.
ReplyDeletePlease stop.
Albaladejo seems capable of showing up for work.
ReplyDeleteYea, he and Edwar have done a good job. There's one bright spot.
ReplyDeleteMLB game cast is pretty good. The time delay is not far off, unlike ESPN's which is still waiting for updates on what happened in monday's game. It gives good detail about each pitch. And there are video highlight alerts that popup and dynamically load into the page when you click play.
ReplyDeleteToo bad MLB.tv wont let me watch YES games. I'm going to have to get someone in another state to get an account for me and a proxy server in china.
i'm in midseason form anger wise
ReplyDeleteTex - no hits
ReplyDeleteC.C. - 8 hits
Wish it was the other way around.
Nice play by Cano
ReplyDeleteI wish we could spam them with some courage wolf
ReplyDelete"We've taken the Yankees and swapped them with Folgers Crystals, let's see if anyone notices."
ReplyDeleteWill said...
ReplyDelete"We've taken the Yankees and swapped them with Folgers Crystals, let's see if anyone notices."
I'm about to pull a Chris Farley freak out right now.
This is EXACTLY the same team as last year. No clutch hitting. Great job Cashman. Another solid off-season for you.
ReplyDeleteIt's two games. You're completely overreacting.
ReplyDeleteDo you guys think I should add a live chat/chatroom feature to the gamethreads?
ReplyDeleteI would be game for a chat thread.
ReplyDeletesure greg, it gets annoying refreshing the page
ReplyDeletelive chat/ irc is much better. supporting image uploads would be sweet too, I'd be even funnier than Hitler.
ReplyDeleteThey need brett tomko
ReplyDeleteWill, could I do that with a widget?
ReplyDeleteAt least it's a short turnaround with the day game tomorrow.
ReplyDeletethere are a lot of things you can do with midgets.
ReplyDeleteTrue.
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteTHis is BLEEPING ridiculous,
ReplyDeleteHow's it going Mario?
ReplyDeleteblogger prolly doesnt facilitate uploading images to comments
ReplyDeleteCome on Tex, shut these idiots up. Just get a basehit.
ReplyDeleteThere you go Tex.
ReplyDelete... Tying run to the plate.
ok good, now we dont have to discuss Teixeira anymore
ReplyDeleteWHY DO THEY WAIT UNTIL THE LAST OUT!!!!!! FML!
ReplyDeleteFinally! Tex going the other way instead of trying to kill/pull everything. Maybe he could some of these other players how to do this on a regularly basis.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I am not overreacting. This team has some of the same un-cluth hitters it has had for years. It isn't 2 games. It has been years watching the same garbage. They either hit a HR/GIDP/SO/FO. Tex is one that isn't like that but overall it is still the same. And, I still want Swisher insted of .260 Nady. We have enough of those.
I'll just say this. 5 runs a game should be a enough to win. The lineup, while not awesome in the clutch, is doing it's fair job.
ReplyDeleteTrue. A.J. needs to have a good game tomorrow. Be the stopper.
ReplyDeleteYeah it wasn't pretty, nor entirely successful, but you can't really come down on the lineup tonight with the way they lit up Wang.
ReplyDeleteWho's winning? Orioles still?
ReplyDeleteNot going to overreact.
ReplyDeleteBut once again like the first game it is hard to win games when your starter gives you nothing.
The O's won 7-5 Liam.
ReplyDeleteOk, I was too busy making my blog. I still need help on it thought. I messed up on my URL. lol
ReplyDeleteAt least tonight is the premier of Bernie Williams Center Stage, so we got that going for us, which is nice.
ReplyDeleteI almost forgot about that Greg. Thanks for reminding me.
ReplyDeleteLiam something funny, like KissingSuzyKolber.com
ReplyDeleteNo why?
ReplyDeleteits a recommendation, not a question
ReplyDeleteSorry. I'm just tired.
ReplyDeleteYea, its all Wang's fault. Girardi definitely didn't leave him too long......who needs a long
ReplyDeletereliever anyways.
0-2 and both losses to the Orioles with your best pitchers going. Good job Girardi, way to know your staff...
Well that blows.
ReplyDeleteOnce our starters settle down a bit they'll be fine. It just sucks losing to the Orioles.
Looking at the bright side, Tex is off the schnide, and the bullpen was good. Cano is mashing, Posada is hitting well, too.
"Good job Girardi, way to know your staff..."
ReplyDeletewat? should he have put Sabathia 5th and Wang 4th?
