  1. I agree with you with every divsion execpt the NL east. I think the Phils hav a shot on winning the division again. And hopefully CC (not me) wins the Cy young award.

  2. Capatain I almost forgot. The polls close today. I like Jeter in the lead off spot.

  3. Every time I look at the Yankee starting rotation I don't see why we can't win the World Series.

  4. wow Greg, you have alot of confidence in that Philly team. Considering how last season they got lucky with their bullpen, i doubt they'll strike gold again. Lidge will not be all for all in saves again. Also, they are way too left handed offense wise. I don't mind Ibanez but considering how they will play the Mets alot and face Johan a few times, i doubt they'll be that good. Also, i'm not sure where does everyone get off picking the Indians when they finished in 3rd place last season. The whitesox have a better team to win that division in my mind. and now they have a healthy Carlos Quentin (who is my MVP pick). Also, there is no way Lester wins the Cy Young, I'll pick Matsuzaka before i pick Lester. It will either Holliday or CC in my mind. I agree on your AL ROY. In the NL Maybin might win it but don't keep your eye off McCutchen from the Pirates.

  5. Are the Brewers and Rockies not MLB teams anymore? Anyways, I have been touting the Royals all offseason and see no reason why I shouldn't stick to my pick. I like the Jays over the Orioles but by a slim margin. I like the Phillies to win their divison and the Braves to win the wild card. Sorry Mets. The D'Backs will be a force this year. Their offense is young and many are in their third year, I predict a breakthrough, and their pitching is solid. Oh, and the Rays are AL's wild card. Playoffs:
    Yankees over Royals
    Rays over Angels

    Yankees over Rays

    Phillies over Cubs
    D'Backs over Braves

    D'backs over Phillies

    Yankees over D'Backs

  10. Nice picks Liam! The Rays do have a shot at winning the Wild Card, but I think with the Red Sox's great rotation, they will win it.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Who knows? The Rays could have another great season.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I sure do. I'm just tired. They put many bags of ice on me to cool down. Then every 10 minutes they check my tem. Around 2 o'clock in the morning ( right when I was about to go to sleep ) they ran a test on me. Then at 7 they told me that my fever had dropped to 99 degrees. So they told me that I can go home.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I better get some sleep before the game starts. See you later.

    ReplyDelete
  14. liam, I disagree with you, you got 3 hours of sleep last night.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Don't say that to me bitch!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I can say whatever I want like what you say about Liam.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Your not the boss of me, i'm older than you.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I didn't say I'm the boss of you. I'm just saying if you mess with Liam for no reason what-so-ever than we could do the same to you.

I may be younger than you, but you're just as immature as I may be.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Ya know, if you had a better name for your account and if you left Liam alone I bet some people would actually like you on Blogger.

    ReplyDelete
  20. JUST STOP! Listen, no one cares how old you are. No one cares what you say. We are family here. We stick together. We are yankee fans that want to talk about baseball. Not this crazy BS. Please. if you don't like the Yankees and you don't like us, then go.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hahaha, completely forgot those teams... they've been added.

  22. Just shut up and leave me alone.April 6, 2009 at 11:50 AM

Just shut up and leave me alone.

How about that as a new account. Does everyone like me now?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thanks Liam. You make a good point. I'm just angry at this retard because he is always picking on you (and now me) for no reason.

I'm excited for this season and I don't want it to be ruined by one retarded viewer of Gregs' blog.

    ReplyDelete
  24. How about you leave us alone and then we'll talk about liking you.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ok, maybe I shouldn't bother just you guys. Maybe I should bother every one!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hey Liam, don't know if you saw me mention it before, but I'm glad you're feeling better dude.

    Hitler,

What's the deal with this Hitler crap?

    ReplyDelete
  27. I sure did come back at the wrong time.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Crap? I'm so scared.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Look up Hitler in a history book. You'll find an asshole, just like this one.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Man. You are acting like Hitler is a funny name. He did many bad things. He killed many innocent Jews. He blamed many of them for there troubles. And your acting like it's a big joke to you. You are a horible person. And saying that I was lying. I would never lie to any one.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I know he a bitch. He reminds me of you liam. I'll be back.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Can we all be happy? It's Opening Day! We should all be excited! First pitch is only a couple hours away.

(I know I am part of the Hitler crap, but I'm trying to stop getting involved with it)

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  39. I've been waiting for so long for opening day and it's finaly here. I was happy so far today. Being released from the hospital just before the game starts made me even happyer. Now i'm pissed thanks to Hitler BS. I was suffering in the hospital. I thought I was going to die. And this is how not just me but everyone that loves the yankees get treated. That just makes me sick.

  45. Great picks, I pretty much have exactly the same with the exception of the White Sox winning the AL Central. I’m looking forward to this year’s season, should be another good one. I made a top ten list of my projections for the regular season results: http://www.toptentopten.com/topten/projected+baseball+teams+2009+regular+season. I think my picks are solid, if you don’t agree you can actually change the order by voting.

    ReplyDelete
  46. OK, so for the second year in a row my AL Central pick has started the year with an 0-for. First the Tigers, and now the Indians... Unbelievable.
