  36. just came back from the game...the stadium is beautiful...the food are out in center field above the sports bar is the best...you can stand there and watch the game while eating and drinking...walking around the place is a joy...more spacious than the old stadium...i walked down to the field level and the view there is amazing...seeing the screen in pictures doesn't do it justice...it's enormous...great time..

  37. Just got back from the game (had to go to NJ before I came home). Well I thought I would be safe from the rains with the roof over the grandstands, but to my surprise most of the seats in our section were wet when we came in. It appears that the driving rain comes through the open back wall and most of the seats will get wet anyway. Same for the concourse area on the third level - totally wet with the driving rain.

Otherwise the place looked great at night. They took the netting above monument park down for the game and draped it to try and block out the plagues. Another "tacky" feature! We'll see how it goes tomorrow for a day game and if the sun reflects off the glass in center.

  38. Glad to hear you guys had a good time.

  39. The Hard Rock Cafe was jammed pack the whole night. The yankees are really going to cleanup.

They also have an after hours bar which I think closes at 1AM
