Stick around and discuss the game
as it happens in the comments section.
so can someone explain what is up with the backstop net / tv problem? every major league park has a backstop net, and the press box at yankee stadium does not look unusually low. so what is up, did they just put in a net that is ridiculously high? and then the question would be why? how did this happen and why is it different that at every other park in baseball?
ReplyDeleteI think it's just a matter of the camera behind home plate being a little too low. They're going to have to find a place that's a little higher up.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they do. I had no problem with the camera last night.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't that terrible, but it's something that has to be fixed. There's no reason why we should have to watch the game through a net on TV, even if it isn't that big of a deal.
ReplyDeletedoes YES not offer an online streaming package? I dont have cable and i dont really waant cable. id rather pay for an online stream, but poking around yes I dont see anything.
ReplyDeleteGame is once again free on MLB.TV
ReplyDeleteDoes MLB.TV premium give access to all YES broadcasts? no blackouts?
ReplyDeleteNetworks like YES are not allowed to broadcast their games online. Only MLB.com may stream games online. The cost for MLB.tv is $109 for the year for premium, or $20/month for premium. MLB.tv "regular" is $15 month (video quality isn't quite as good).
ReplyDeleteIf you live outside the NY market (see MLB.com for zip codes), then you will get almost all Yankee games. The only games you won't see will be games exclusively if the Yankees are on FOX (Saturday games) or if they are on ESPN (on Sunday).
If you live within the NY market area, ALL Yankee games will be blacked out on MLB.tv, and your only choice is to get cable or satellite.
YANKEES WIN!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd win big. We look unstoppable.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I don't have to deal with all that blackout stuff.
ReplyDeleteLive abroad guys, that's a good part of it.
Yanks in there way to a 162-0 regular season starting on Monday. You won't say didn't call it!
Too bad it's still spring Training.
ReplyDeleteIt's better to call something with a name.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean?
ReplyDeleteCan somebody explain that horrible siren noise that goes off for home runs? that thing is brutal. let's bring back the Who!
ReplyDeleteI was talking to myself because I called a perfect season as an Anonymous.
ReplyDeleteIf the Yankees actually go 162-0, I want to be named the smartest guy ever.
So I had to have a name. Nothing against you Liam.
I know it's just spring training, but this team looks freaking great. For a few years now I've had to convince myself that the Yankees had a good team. I'm noticing this year I don't have to convince myself that much.
ReplyDeleteDominant Spring Training by the boys. The Boss must be proud he hated losing even in spring training games.
ReplyDeleteeverything is starting to fall in place before the season even starts. hopefully it keeps up through the season..
ReplyDeleteOk. Thanks Vinsanity13.
