A-Rod To The DL

Not that it's a big surprise, or a big deal in any way, but following today's game with the Cubs the Yanks placed Alex Rodriguez on the DL retroactive to March 27th.

According to Peter Abraham, the Yankees are saying he's still in Colorado but they expect him in Tampa in the next few days.

    I think Berroa should have got the spot rather than Pena. Don't get me wrong, Pena is really good, but we need the bench to have some more veterans like in the late-09's championships.

    I know what you're saying Yankeeboy, but it's only until mid-May so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Once A-Rod comes back Ransom will be the utility guy and Pena will go back to the minors.
