For the second year in a row Major League Baseball is having its players wear special hats from Memorial Day through the 4th of July weekend, and will also be worn on September 11th.
All the proceeds from sales of the special caps will go to the Welcome Back Veterans organization. The caps will sell for $37. If you remember, last year's caps were blue.
I'm glad they're doing this for the veterans, I'm just not a big fan of red, and that's probably because of the Red Sox.
Weren't the hats blue last year? Those were pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteWhat are these, Limp Bizket hats?
ReplyDeletehaha yeah blue ones were pretty cool
ReplyDeleteugh ... Red ! just plain bad
ReplyDeleteI didn't even like last years hat as much because it wasn't the right Yankee blue. But it was ok.
ReplyDeleteThis one is just plain ugly.
(The Limp Bizket line was pretty funny!)
Yes Anon they were blue last year.
ReplyDeletei like these. i'm actually gonna get the red one. i have the blue one from last year. but then again, i do collect fitteds and have about 68 of them. but i like em'
ReplyDeleteBentton, I just don't like the red. I like the stars and stripes interlocking NY.
ReplyDeletefucking awful
ReplyDeleteGhetto...
ReplyDeleteThey shouldn't wear these hats for even a single second. Awful, absolutely awful.
ReplyDeletethe stars and stripes jersey is pretty bad too. if george was still the boss, and if woody had gone right to the police....this would never have happened.
ReplyDeletewtf? What is more American then the classic Yankee jerseys and caps?
ReplyDeleteI will tell you what is more American than the Yankee's how about an American Soldier? You might not care about the Flag but WE DO
ReplyDeleteAt ease soldier, I don't think B meant any insult by that.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Toronto? Since they are Canadien and don't celebrate our 4th of July, wouldn't it be a little odd to have them wear these caps too?
ReplyDeleteYes, it is odd that they have them on too.
