I thought they would play this game. On the radar it looks like the weather will be getting progressively better from now on & I thought the new place drains well.
Plus I had the whole evening available & you would think the Yankees would consider my situation before making any rash decisions!
What it's gonna do for the Twins is that they'll have a lot of games to play at the end of September because it's gonna snow a lot and they'll postpone many games when the weather gets worse, let alone play October baseball in their new park.
That's a dumb decision not to build a dome in Mineapolis.
Crap.
ReplyDeleteConfirmed by MLB.com.
ReplyDeleteThere are 3 things I hate : traffic jams, the Red Sox and rained out games.
I still cannot understand why a sport that can't be played under rain has 90% of the ballpark roofless.
I hate it I hate it I hate it!!!
Go Bombers anyway.
I'd rather a rain out than have a dome over Yankee Stadium, and that's coming from someone who has tickets for tonight.
ReplyDeleteTrue Greg.

lol
ReplyDeleteI didn't say they should put a dome over YS.
ReplyDeleteJust that I don't understand the logic from the beginning (ie: Why they didn't play this game indoor from the start).
Of course a dome on YS would be terrible.
But things change, the French Open has always been played outdoor and they're gonna put a roof on the main stadium. (Go Federer BTW)
Go Bombers.
I just got back in a while ago. Was on my way to the game and it canceled just as I got to LaGuardia on the Grand Central.
ReplyDeleteTook me 15 minutes to get to Laguardia and 45 minutes to get back in traffic.
Dammit... I wanted to go to the game tonight!!!
Damn, and Veras was going to get his chance tonight too.
ReplyDeleteI wanted a double-head tomorrow... oh well...
ReplyDeleteWhat I don't understand is Minnesota not having a dome over their new park... I don't get it...

ReplyDeleteSure he was Will, sure he was.
Vinsanity,
I see what you're saying. As long as NYS never has a dome I don't care if every other stadium around the league does.
red sux suck... first place baby!
