What's the deal with all the day games lately?
ReplyDeleteWhat's the deal with a lefty pitching and Hinske sitting? Isn't that the situation they planned to use him in?
ReplyDeleteArod is DHing- put Hinske in at
3rd! Cody Ransom? Groan. I think Girardi is letting Cashman know what he thinks of the new acquisition. I don't get it.
who is playing C from Minn?
ReplyDeletethey have 2 3B
go for the sweep. i can smell first place! red sox here we come, now if only we can beat you
ReplyDeletehinske is a lefty anon...
ReplyDeletehe's a career .223 hitter against lefty's and a .263 hitter against righty's....although this year he is hitting .320 against lefty's in 25 AB...and .244 against righty's in 86 AB...
ReplyDeleteMeh, that was dumb... giving them an out.
ReplyDeleteIt may not have been pretty but it was 3 runs!
ReplyDeleteAnd THAT is why Ransom is on this team.
ReplyDeleteRansom blows. Bring Pena back dammit!
ReplyDeletei really can't stand ransom.
ReplyDeleteWe should be out of the inning and Aceves wouldn't be wasting pitches.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cody!
Why is Pena not on this team?
ReplyDeleteWhy is Pena not on this team?
ReplyDeletegood question...
ReplyDeleteRansom is worthless.
ReplyDeleteRancid Ransom at it again
ReplyDeleteI could do better than Cody Ransom .. and I'm 56 and just had a hip replacement 3 weeks ago. Being home recovering from that is why I'm loving all the day games lately. It breaks up the day and makes me wait until after 4pm to take a nap. Life is good ... as long as we keeping putting up wins.
ReplyDeleteThat's 5 errors in 32 games for ransom. Bring back Pena!
ReplyDeleteThat is so annoying Jeter. Stop doing that crap!
ReplyDeleteYea maybe Aceves should just stick with relief work.
ReplyDeleteLook at Gameday... Robertson threw 4 strikes and 1 ball to Tolbert... but the ump is fail...
ReplyDeleteAnd Robertson can't throw a strike. Now Mauer is up with them loaded.
ReplyDeleteUm robertson sucks has no business being in the majors, and Girardi has no clue how to use a bullpen..
ReplyDeleteThey looked like balls on tv.
ReplyDeleteAbout fucking time Robertson.
ReplyDeleteMario, a 2.57 ERA sucks?
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly why I thought Mitre should have started. Aceves couldn't go deep and he wasn't expected to.
ReplyDeleteNow the pen will get burned out. I don't get it.
And Robertson has been pretty good this year.
you just walked a guy batting .180 you suck...
ReplyDeleteOn the MARK!
ReplyDeleteLike I said before, Robertson gives up runs almost every time he pitches. Robertson sucks. I dont care what his ERA is and he didn't even get charged for those runs but to walk 2 people with the bases loaded is a joke. He walks people way too much and is too inconsistent. He is definiltey a problem.
ReplyDeleteYou ready to give up on Robertson yet dane? I mean come on. He does this craaappp everytime. Walk, walk and more walks.
ReplyDeleteHe needs to go back to AAA and let Melancon come up again. Bring Cervelli and Pena while you are at Yankees.
lol, give up on Robertson... he of the 2.53 ERA. Robertson's good, he just needs to calm down in pressure spots.
ReplyDeleteNot give up on him permanently. But, temporarily yes. He needs to go to AAA. ERA is irrelevant. He walked 2 batters and wasn't charged a run and it was 100% his fault.
ReplyDeleteWalks, walks and more walks. Lets see who is doing the catching? Oh yes, you dont even have to watch the game or look at gameday and one can automatically know who the catcher is.
ReplyDeleteWe know, it is definitely not Posada's fault. We got it.
well i'm reduced to watching online storming here, direct tv out, yippie
ReplyDeletei can't believe twins sent Lirano back out with 100 pitches, they trying to kill the kid, isn't he still coming off injuries
ReplyDeleteOnce again Sterling screws up, he just called Melky's double a foul ball.
ReplyDeleteI used to have Directv and loved it except for times when there were storms and it went out. That drove me nuts.
ReplyDeleteYes, ERA is a bad barometer to gauge pitchers by. What was I thinking.
ReplyDeletedamn knuckleballer. why dont more pitchers throw the knuckle to prolong their careers. mussina could throw one but never did.
ReplyDeletewow imagine that, throw a strike, they swing, hit a weak ground ball what a concept....
ReplyDeleteThe Philthies looking strong again
ReplyDeleteYankees win! Thaaaaa Yankees win!
ReplyDeleteoffense had better come ready to go tomorrow, JOBA pitching, & Joe used 6 pitchers today, JOBA you'd better give at least 7 "GOOD" innings, no stupid walks, cut down on pitches, be aggressive, stop being such a pansie and grow the fuck up...
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
ReplyDeletePretty much what he said. Grow a fuckin pair Joba and pump up the fastball to the upper 90's when you need to put hitters away.
lmao...
ReplyDeleteWell put and funny Mario! LOL
ReplyDeleteNice win... 7-for-7 against the Twinkies... now on to Cali to finish off the first half.
ReplyDeleteWow the way this team is playing, all Girardi had to do is sit there and let them make him look like an actual manager. Does Girardi seem determined to show the world that he really can't manage?
ReplyDeleteGirardi is a good manager I dont understand all the hate for him. It is no surprise when he became manager Jeter has improved his defense. The defensive positioning of the team has greatly improved under Girardi. Girardi runs the bullpen much better than Torre and does not burn anyone out like Torre already did in LA with Bellasario. Also, Girardi is very good with the young players like Gardner, Cervelli, Pena, Melky & Cano.
ReplyDeleteRobertson's ERA is under three.
ReplyDeleteQuit you're bitching. He battles control problems sometimes, but he's really young. His stuff is good and his ERA proves that.
@ JC
ReplyDeleteI agree Robertson has done a nice job. Look at his strikeouts. Once he gets his control right he will become a very good reliever.
KC just beat the red sux 8-6.
ReplyDeleteWe are back in first place!!!
Go Yanks!!!
You know what I was thinking; after todays win and the Red Sucks lost and being tied up again, I was thinking "you know what, this is going to be a fight between both teams. Now as we all know we havent beat them not a single time this season. Than I thought what if we ended up beatting them at the end and end-up on top. I would probably say they beat us early but we beat them when it counted the most". Now thats a heck of a script!
ReplyDeleteI'll sign up for that.
