  1. Albaladejo did a nice job in those 3 games. Its nice to know the yanks have some depth in the bullpen.

I think they made the right move though. I would of kept David Robertson. He has 2.53 era with 31 strikeouts in 21.1 ip. I know he struggled on thursday. But I think he is a good young middle reliever.

Now is you wanted to keep Albaledejo instead of Tomko than I am in agreement. Albaledjo can give you multiple innings like Tomko.

  2. this is getting rediculous leaving matsui out of the lineup because a lefty is pitching. this happens too often and matsui has been hot lately. He didnt play for 9 straight games in NL parks and they come back home, he hits the cover off the ball and girardi sits him no matter what just because a lefty is throwing.

And by DHing jeter, ransom plays short? why is pena in scranton and ransom with the club right now?

  3. If Jeter need to be rested that badly he should skip the allstar game. Taking one of the hottest hitters in Matsui out of the lineup 2 days in a row is a mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I almost choked when I saw Ransom at SS

    ReplyDelete
  5. There's no way the Yanks are a better team with Pena down in AAA and Ransom with the parent club. Isn't the whole point for the best players #1-25 to be on the ML roster, especially with how much Girardi is now playing Ransom?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Why is Swisher(.239) playing over Gardner(.286) and don't give me the OPS BS since I do not see titles given in OPS?
And Yes why is Ransom on the team?
Why did they send Albeledejo(sp) down and TOMKO is still on the TEAM!!!
TRADE away all the prospects and get Halladay since you are unable to use them to make the team better you rather play has-beens and never-was players, Clueless JOE and Brainless Brian
Yanks lose tonight 7-4. Joba 4 innings.

  7. Hey people, how's everyone doing tonight?

I agree that leaving Matsui out of the lineup is stupid. Also, having Ransom on this team bothers me more and more each day.

Not really sure about their bullpen moves either.. Oh well, at least they're still winning.

    Turndog,

Not sure if I've seen you leave a comment before. Welcome aboard and thanks for reading.

  8. By the way, how much of that 'valuable outfield experience' has Pena gotten since he was sent down?

  9. What a pitching duel going on in Boston!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Greg did you see this?

    http://www2.tbo.com/jeter-seeks-ok-build-fence/

    A 31,000 square foot house?

    ReplyDelete
  11. I posted something about that house a few months back... Didn't know about this fence thing, though.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yea A-Rod! 1-0 Yanks on A-Rod's first inning RBI double.

    ReplyDelete
  13. 3-0 now on a Nick Swisher 2-run single.... Nice start!

    ReplyDelete
  14. let's go joba!!...throw strikes...go right after them...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Watching Joba pitch has become painful. He nibbles and nibbles until he's forced to throw a strike and then throws a fastball right down the middle.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Even the hits are on pitches outside the zone!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I can't believe A-Rod hit that pitch out with that swing. Wow, that's a strong dude.

    ReplyDelete
  18. The umps strike again. Figgins was out.

    ReplyDelete
  19. How quickly the game changes... ffs...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Joba sucks and should be in the BP. He's a terrible starter. He does nothign but tax our BP and can't get people out. Girardi is an idiot with this lineup and starters. Why start Molina? Seriously, what has he done to show anything. Why does this team reward people who shouldn't be rewarded and not reward people that should? Stupid Cashman and his stupid decisions.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Joba doesn't have his fastball. He's not going to magically get it by going to the pen. Joba hasn't been the same since the injury last year.

    ReplyDelete
  22. He tried Molina because maybe he might have helped Joba have a better start... it makes sense...

    ReplyDelete
  23. I understand but the point is what has Molina done to earn anything? Cervelli deserves it and he isn't here. Pena deserves and he isn't here. Gardner deserves to be the starting CF and isn't. Ransom has done nothign to deserve anything. Ditto for Wang. Its suppose to be a merit system.

Cashman better get a starter because he is going to need one. Move Joba to the BP.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jeter is the man. 4-for-4... and counting.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I agree with Ransom/Gardner, but it's not like they're going to release Molina just to accommodate Cervelli, who isn't better than Molina at this point.

    ReplyDelete
  26. lmao, Swisher is certainly not smooth out there....

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'm still mad at that last inning. The 4 Angels runs shouldn't have even happened. Figgins got caught stealing, Izturis popped out, Bobby singled, and then the grounder to A-Rod shoulda been out number 3...

    ReplyDelete
  28. hey guys, back from freakin work, and i am about to turn the game off for a while because i started watching it last inning and joba gave up those runs.

    ReplyDelete
  29. hey guys, back from freakin work, and i am about to turn the game off for a while because i started watching it last inning and joba gave up those runs.

    ReplyDelete
  30. so hopefully i will jinx it the other way

    ReplyDelete
  31. Teixeira is so good at first... if that's Giambi they have two more errors, it's 10-5 right now, and that inning is still going on.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Up 5-1, now down 7-5. Simple no excuse for this garbage. Great start Joba. Nibble nibble nibble. It continually gets you in trouble and makes it tough on our BP.

According to you dane, everyone is better than Cervelli. Except for that little thing called scientific observable phenomena.

Cya later Melancon. You're not major league material. Go back to the minors. You simple can't get out of any inning without giving up runs. Pack your bags.

    ReplyDelete
  33. "....scientific observable phenomena."

    WTF?

    ReplyDelete
  34. lmao... so stats aren't of good use to compare players?

    Posada: .289 .373 .519

    Molina: .277 .333 .383

    Cervelli: .253 .268 .325

But of course, Cervelli's spunk makes him better than the HOF... they should create a new museum dedicated to just him... right.

    ReplyDelete
  35. i'm really get sick of Joba's terrible starts and that we continue to suck vs the Angels.. same old Yankees blowing games in Anaheim... i really thought we were really starting to get something going

    ReplyDelete
  36. .. but yea, Joba's starts are pissing me off.

    ReplyDelete
  37. If it only wasn't for garbage ass Uribe, that might have been a perfecto... but nevertheless, congrats to him...

    ReplyDelete
  38. i don't want to say it but, how about trying Joba in the Pen and Hughes in the rotation?

    ReplyDelete
  39. That was a great at-bat by Melky, RBI single, 7-6 Angels.

    ReplyDelete
  40. So Jeter goes back into the field?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think so... OK, Matsui vs. Oliver with the bases loaded.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Come on Dekster... doo itt

    ReplyDelete
  43. will we see a Thrilluh from Godzilla? lol

    ReplyDelete
  44. Motherfuckinbitch, I thought it mighta been gone... shit.

    ReplyDelete
  45. i've said it before and i'll say it again, what is mark teixeira Not good at?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Wow, Jeter dropped a pop up. This just isn't their night.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Let's see if the Bruney move works.

    ReplyDelete
  48. i'm gonna go watch the game and go to sleep see you guys later.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Hey whadda you know, a four-pitch walk by Bruney... fantastic.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Aybar looks like he's 5' 7''.

    ReplyDelete
  51. you know that when Girardi makes a bullpen move... it won't work...

    ReplyDelete
  52. Bruney sucks... gives up a 3-run homer to Erick freaking Aybar. Oh well, I guess you can put this one in the L column.

    ReplyDelete
  53. At least I can stop watching now... damn, this game looked bad.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Girardi frustrates me more than Chamberlain, because Chamberlain can at least become something.

    ReplyDelete
  55. good night.. tough game tmro vs Weaver, really didnt want to go into the all star break on a bad note, but were on our way to losing this series ( suprise, suprise we lose to the angels)... hopefully im wrong.. but right now i just dont want to get swept

Terrible job by Girardi bringing in Bruney.. i knew he would let the game slip away

    ReplyDelete
  56. Yes, Girardi sucks. What a horrible manager. Taht's what you get idiot Girardi/Cashman for having/starting Ransom and then bringin in Jeter to play SS late in the game. Did it ever occur to you that Jeter is NOT a good defensive SS? Ack! It can't be, its Jeter! That's why you have Pena on this team and not Ransom. Dumbass Girardi and his overmanaging numbskull moves.

And, Bruney sucks. There was NEVER anythign special about him and the new york media thinks there was. He walks people for no reason AGAIN, he should be gone for that walk and then gives up a HR to Aybar. You suck Bruney and next time SHUT YOUR BIG MOUTH.

Great night to start a catcher that hasn't played in forever. Dumbass Girardi. Brilliant Cashman. Send down Cervelli that's it, first place is on the line! Duh. Idiots running this organization.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Way to atone for your error Jeter. You're the man!

This is why this team, with all its overpaid old men/Girardi/Cashman running things. They are not trustworthy period. First place was on the line and what do they do? Mail it in and they can't beat a team without 2 of its top stars, errors by old men and terrible decisions by Girardi and CashDUMB. Bring up Molina. You're an idiot! I hope you go on a losing streak because your decisions are appalling. When our you going to learn your lesson? Oh that's right never. You're too prideful, arrogant and stupid. And, you still can't beat good teams or play TOUGH when 1st place is on the line. And, you want me to trust you? Not on your life..... Same idiots that haven't won a playoff series in forever.

  58. What's the Yanks record in LA since 05? They just showed it on YES, but I missed it.
