  1. Hello everybody.

    Anyone watching the Giants-Panthers preseason?

Is the lack of a dependable wide receiver worrying any Giants fans out there? It worries me. On the other hand, the defense and running game should be really good.

    ReplyDelete
  2. It concerns me a bit, but I think Smith and Hixon have breakout years.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I hope so. That would make life easier for Eli.

    ReplyDelete
  4. The Giants need to go out and get Brandon Marshall from the Broncos. He's not happy there and is tremendously talented at the WR position. He unluck Plaxico Burress has most of his off-field problems resolved.

  5. Yep I'm watching it. The recieving core worries me as well. But all in all, I think we'll be able to hold up.

Eli looked pretty good tonight. So did David Carr. Score is 14-9 no in case you're not watching at the moment.

  6. Hakeem Nicks is in. This guy sounds like he's really good.

The thing about NFL Preseason that bores me is it's like spring training. After 2 or 3 innings most of your stars/starters are out. Same in NFL. After 2 or 3 series most of the starting squad is out. It's cool to see what our backups can do, but still it's not really that interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hey YB, I turned the game off, how did Nicks do?

By the way, I fixed the game number mistake. It's game no. 119, not 118 like I had it.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Oh. Nicks was in there for a couple series I think, but when the game started I switched back to YES so I don't know how he did.

    ReplyDelete
  9. So funny how you still see the football lines on the field.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Sorry, the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum is such a dump.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Having a nice birthday don't ya think?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yes, so far.

Burnett needs to find the strike zone again.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Man is it me or does Jerry look almost exactly like his brother Scott? (Except for the hair, Scott is bald)

    ReplyDelete
  14. Whewwwwwwwww. Nice catch by Damon and Sweeny is doubled up. Inning over.

I laughed how Cano took it himself.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Every now and then he will surprise you with a gem. Still looks like a bad little leaguer, though.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Wow, what a play by Damon.... By the way, Posada still sucks.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Runners on 1st and 2nd now.

    P.S. Check your inbox Greg.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yea, the Hairstons look very similar.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Bases loaded, 1 out, A-Rod coming up.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I knew it. It's always a DP when A-Rod is up with the bases loaded. Still scoreless in Oakland.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Boy, A.J.'s got the strikeout pitch working tonight. Numero 4 for Burnett.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Why is there always someone blasting Posada? I mean do they even watch the Yankees? They make no sence, Posada is a great True Yankee!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I know Matthew! Posada's great, it's just Anon is a Sox fan and always says that.

    ReplyDelete
  24. It's just this one anonymous poster who has this weird hatred for him.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I was just wondering if all you Yankees fans are Giants fans 2?

And if not, what are you guys favorite football team?

    I'm a Buffalo Bills fan...

I also kinda like the Chargers because thats the first sports team I ever rooted for when I was like 5 or somethin lol.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I am. Big Giants fan actually, but not as big as the Bombers though. I've been to a couple games.

Usually it's if you're a Mets fan you like the Jets, and if you're a Yankee fan you like the Giants. But I have a friend who's a Met fan but is a fan of Big Blue.

    ReplyDelete
  27. You like the Bills? Well you got T.O. so you got a good reason to.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm talking about how he plays, certainly not about what he does off the field.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Are the Yankees really going to allow Tomko to pitch the game of his life?

Meanwhile, Suzuki continues to kill the Yankees.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Come on Burnett. It's already 1-0, and let's try to keep it that way, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I know. I really wanted them to knock Tomko around tonight, he, for some reason, didn't get why he was released. A 5.23 ERA won't get you anywhere in New york.

At least they got 2 outs.

    ReplyDelete
  32. You kidding me? A balk? Now it's 2-0-check that 3-0, Damn!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I thought he was on pace for a great outing the way he was pitchig the first 3 innings, now he's just gotta be careful he doesn't allow any more runs.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think I'm gonna go now. Gotta leave early tomorrow. Night guys.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Sorry i'm sooooooooooooooooo late. I got great news from my doctor today saying that I can play baseball this fall but I can only bat right handed and can only play first.

AJ looks like that he is not haveing a great 4th.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Good for you Liam. Glad to hear it.

AJ got hit hard last inning, he was pretty good over the first three. I just can't understand how this bum hasn't allowed a run yet.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Five shutout innings for Brett Tomko... Unbelievable.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I know, but Tomko has been teammates with these guys and probably knows what there weeknesses are.

    ReplyDelete
  39. He was their teammate for five minutes. They should be tattooing this bum.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Is this game freaking for real? Were LOSING to Oakland and Brett Tomko. This team blows my mind sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  41. lol Greg.

And ya kay, this A's lineup is just horrible. The score should be the other way around.

    ReplyDelete
  42. It looks like the Nats are offering even more money for Strasburg. I don't think he'll sign.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I can't believe what i'm saying but Tomko is finally out of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wow... I wasn't able to watch the game until the top of the 5th. The Yanks sure look flat so far.

    ReplyDelete
  45. They really do, it's kinda pathetic. Maybe they have some late-inning magic in them tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I hate that play, 3 guys coming together always the risk someone misses it

shut up retarded anon, jorge is awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  47. ANONYMOUS = MORON

... Other anon, yes, those plays always worry me.

    ReplyDelete
  48. First of all, I am the Posada hater. And, I haven't posted anything in days. So once again you idiot liberals are duped, fooled and deceived. That's not surprising since you all voted for the biggest scam artist President of all time in Hussein. SUCKERS! ROFLMAO. And, just think, this was only a trial run by God to deceive you. Look how easy it was to DECEIVE you dopes! I can't wait for the real McCoy! That's what you get for loving Pharaoh and being anti-semitic. God will fix your ass for beign prejudiced while holering you are not. Just wait. The best is yet to come. Funniest part is you are shaking your heads "no" right now. Bwaahhahahha!

Posada a true great Yankee? You're an idiot. His job is to catch NOT to hit. He has a career 4.86 CERA. Taht sucks beyond belief. This year alone he is at 5.31 and that is with a great 2 month run. Dopes.

Last night, he allowed double digit runs AGAIN. No other catcher does this on our team EXCEPT him. He already has allowed 3 runs tonight vs the Athletics! Gosh you girls are dumb. This great hittign Yankee team can't hit Tomko? LOL, and you think they are gonna win in the playoffs?

Now, there is nothing to complain about with the way this team is playing but I have my reservations because of their age, defense and Posada. Then again, all liberals and evolutionists get in an emotional panic over facts just like Katie Couric.

    Life is short,
    Death is sure,
    Sin the curse,
    Christ the cure.

Go ahead you brave, tolerant, scientific liberal and give ole Jesus Christ a try. Put Him to His words. Tell Him you're a sinner and you dont' want to go to Hell. Receive Him by faith as your Saviour. It hasn't failed one sinner in 2000 years. Its called SCIENTIFIC OBSERVABLE PHENOMENA!

    ReplyDelete
  52. anon should go read a book. liberals aren't anti-semitic. get your head out of your ass.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Just wait. <<
