  2. Crap. 2-0 on David Ortiz's 2-run double.

  3. I hate Tim McCarver so much, he's all over the Red Sox dick

  5. McCarver is a douchebag and captain of the obvious. He never says anything that requires any thought. He's a moron. Either way, Burnett's stuff actually looks OK. He should be able to settle down as long as he's not rattled.

  6. Anon, you love the cock, go away.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Will Cano ever learn? You don't give bad pitchers free outs. That could have been a big inning but, in the end, we failed to score even one run. Early days yet but I don't like what I've seen so far. Carrying over last night's sloppy habits.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Okay, so two innings with huge possibilities wasted. But it's only two innings and we're still hitting this meat hard. Hopefully AJ just settles down and we'll get the three back

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yes, I have to say that Robbie annoyed me a lot this season. Is running out of the box on DP balls and not stretching when you hit an absolute rocket on the Green Monster.

I have to agree with the article below, I would also take Pedroia over Cano, I hate when you can see that a player sometimes doesn't care as much as fans.

    Anyway, Go Bombers.

  10. this is getting rediculous get it together Yanks,

    ReplyDelete
  11. BTW, apparently this season it has been all or nothing with AJ, it seems like today it's nothing.

You can't win all games. (still, it's only 4-0, not 10-0)

    ReplyDelete
  12. Btw, this could be something out of my nightmares, but McCarver and Morgan in the booth at the same time, I think I died a little inside

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wow, what a terrible performance by AJ. This game's over folks. Go enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Note to Girardi: NEVER START AJ IN A GAME AT FENWAY AGIAN.... EVER.

    ReplyDelete
  15. THIS GUTLESS WONDER CAN'T HANDLE FENWAY.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Burnett and Posada are an absolute disgrace today. Three times Burnett has pitched in Boston this season and three times he has had been caught with his pants down. Hey, AJ, have you forgotten that we lost the first eight games to these red necks? Show some heart, man. You're a disgrace to the jersey.

  18. So, as I said, it was nothing for AJ, he just seems to absolutely implode at times. Hope he doesn't do the same in the postseason.

I just have very little faith in him, because he can kill a game in 2 innings the same way he can be untouchable for 8.

Waited all day for that game and it lasted 40 minutes, screw that.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey Anon, I hope you and your family die in a fire.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The game's not really over. Tazawa could easily implode in the next couple innings and we could get right back in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Again, I think the big test right now is tomorrow.

7-0, we have a great offense but let's not be unrealistic, it's pretty much over.

Let's do what great teams do, what the BoSox did after the sweep in YS and after yesterday festival. Let's rebound as champions.

You can lose games, but you can't afford losing streaks.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yep. You said it perfectly Vinsanity.

The game is pretty much over, but hopefully we don't go down without a fight.

Another good point you made is tomorrow is indeed a big test. Hopefully CC does what aces do and goes head-to-head with Beckett, to at least give the offense a chance to come away with the win.

    ReplyDelete
  23. A.J. Burnett should be executed for his performance today.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Tazawa sucks. He's scared shitless to throw a strike but this is what happens when you fail to take your chances early on. It's the exact opposite of what happened last night when we made Brad Penney look like the Bad Penney he is.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Know exactly how you feel Vinsanity. What a let down.

  27. You hope my family dies in fire? Why what did they do to you? Oh that's right NOTHING. I point out FACTS and you want someone dead. Typical liberal. Clueless, murdering, while you let murderers go free.

I have therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth.

HOW SHALL YE ESCAPE THE DAMNATION OF HELL?

    You won't.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Fuck you. You come on this blog and post nonsense all the time. Fuck off or expect abuse from me and my readers.

    ReplyDelete
  29. We've also seen today why all the experts would picked Pedroia over Cano. His brainless base running after hitting one off the monster was a big turning point, even allowing for AJ's struggles.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Think the Yanks thought they just had to show up to win today's game. I know I did! Complacency is a killer in any sport.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I just hope CC shows how much better he is than this bum Burnett tomorrow. This was truly the most pathetic performance of the year by any Yankee. He should be ashamed of himself.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Anon, don't expect many of your comments to stay around. You are obsolete.

    ReplyDelete
  36. i think you deleted the wrong one.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Not our day today, that's for sure. Left a dozen men on base in six innings. Hey, it's only one game but I really do hope this stops all the nonsense about the Yanks having already clinched the division and making the playoffs. It ain't over til it's over.

    ReplyDelete
  38. what a pathetic game... AJ was awful and the offense couldnt get 1 hit with RISP.. i knew there was no way Melky wouldnt hit into a DP last inning.

  63. God, can you really be such a bitch? Oh no, he said he wants you to die, call the internet cops!

    ReplyDelete
  64. No, not from you. You are not welcomed here... By the way, I hope you die in a fire.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hey gang-

Looking at the score, and reading that Joe Morgan is in the booth with Tim McCarver, sort of makes me glad I have no TV at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  66. No, Joe Morgan the Red Sox manager, not the dumbass ESPN announcer.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Guys, what a sad saturday.

Our team gets destroyed by Boston, our "n°2 starter" (who really pitches like a n°1 3/5 times and like Tim Reddings 2/5) throws pretty much BP to a great lineup. Soooooo bad.

And then, some no life who apparently has something againt Jorge he can't get over comes here and just continues to talk about the catching position when it's pretty darn obvious than absolutely no one in this chat gives a damn about it. Anyway, I think everybody got a little bit carried away, let's keep our cool.
Anon, just go, find a Sox blog where you can throw your garbage at Posada, they'll throw theirs with you.

Go Bombers, let's follow CC tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  68. well rain here in north jersey to close a sad saturday

    ReplyDelete
  69. But, on the bright side, the Giants play in an hour. That's something to look forward to.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Sorry, but at this point in time I couldn't care less if the Giants went 0-16, and I'm a Giants fan.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Why? You're too focused on the Yanks right now?

    ReplyDelete
  72. Well, I guess you can call this payback for what we did to them last night.

Just let CC do his thing tomorrow and build our lead back up to 7 1/2.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Hey guys, just got back to my room, we left during the 7th inning and went to get some more beers.

It was a horrible game to be at, really miserable.

Funny story though as we were leaving. Some idiot backed straight into a fire hydrant then proceeded to put the car in drive and hit another car, ahhh silly sox fans.

    Tomorrow is another DAy.
