- The Yanks are 26-8 since the All-Star break, they've won 39 of their last 52, and at 77-45 they have the best record in all of baseball. They currently lead Boston by 7.5 games in the AL East.- In 11 starts against Boston A.J. Burnett is 5-1, with a 3.39 ERA. In Fenway he's 3-1, with a 3.56 ERA in five starts, but in two starts this year in Boston he's 0-1, with a 12.91 ERA. In 7.2 innings he's allowed 11 runs on 13 hits, walked 8, and struck out just 4.
- Mariano Rivera has converted 36-of-37 save opportunities this season. He's converted 32 straight saves which is the longest such streak in the Majors, and the longest of Mo's hall of fame career.
- Boston has won 8 of the 13 games with the Yankees, but the Yanks have won the last five.
- At 36-27 the Yankees have the second best road record in the AL. The Angels are first at 37-25.

Hey guys, just got back to my room, we left during the 7th inning and went to get some more beers.
