Gaudin Trade Completed

Corey Brock is reporting that the Padres have decided to take $100,000 from the Yankees for RHP Chad Gaudin. The Padres could have taken a player to be named later but that would have had to happen by Sept. 1, so they went with the cash instead.

    Wow Pads got ripped. I mean I know he's no Doc Halladay, but he's a decent, flexible 26-year-old.

    What is 100K to an MLB team??

    I agree Gaudin is pretty decent he is still fairly young. He does strike a lot of hitters out. So he could be pretty good in the bullpen.
