as it happens in the comments section.
Greg - my paper says the game is on ESPN (at least in Charlotte)
ReplyDeleteJay
Thats right it's Wed. But the people that live around the New York area have to watch ESPN news. The game is also on YES.
ReplyDeleteBig error Mariano! not Moriano, fix it b4 u jinx him.
ReplyDeletelol it's fixed. I had Mo there and forgot to change the "o" when I made it Mariano.
ReplyDeleteBreaking News: Sheppard died.
ReplyDeleteWhere is that breaking?
ReplyDeleteLooks like another disaster in the making for Joba.
ReplyDeleteesp..... up your ass.
ReplyDeletegreg any idea on the next chat? i had fun in-between games on those when i was up in boston.
ReplyDeleteIt was yesterday.
ReplyDeleteHey Durden, I'll set one up within a week.
ReplyDeleteJoba really has no idea what being a pitcher means.
Durden as in Tyler Durden?
ReplyDeleteNo, Durden as in what?
ReplyDeleteJoba just needs to relax out there, this must be a mental thing with him, maybe he needs to do those pre-game drills again like when he had his ass in-shape.
ReplyDeleteJOBA SUCKS BALLS!
ReplyDelete1st anon is correct, thats where I took it from.
ReplyDeletewhat about me?
ReplyDeletedid you ever hook up with marla singer?
ReplyDeletewhat about you?
ReplyDeleteconsidering thats a fictional character, no i did not. lol.
ReplyDeleteI SAID JOBA SUCKS BALLS. Thank gos Molina is catching tonight, Posada would of made it much worse.
ReplyDeleteI am Jacks...
ReplyDeleteWait, what? Bob Sheppard died?
ReplyDeleteThe Yankees should just trade Posada. He's done nothing but make pitchers like Joba suck.
ReplyDeleteIt's not Posada's fault at all, Joba is just really struggling right now.
ReplyDeleteAnon shut the hell up. Just trade Posada, alright, who becomes our full-time catcher? Molina, who'd we have to resign..Cervelli is not quite ready? Geez, oh wait you want us to trade for Joe Maurer right? ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteNo, there is no report saying that YB. Don't listen to anon.
ReplyDeleteAnon, what are you talking about? If Bob Sheppard was died it would of been all over the pre game show and would of had a moment of silance. That is just a horrible lie anon. HORRIBLE!
ReplyDeleteJustin Louis Heath Chamberlain needs to correct himself and soon.
ReplyDeleteAnon is probably the same Red Sox troll who comes on here to pout about his team every other day.
ReplyDeleteBesides Anon, how are you guys tonight?
ReplyDeleteCome on Jeet, let's go!
ReplyDeleteTrade Jeter while your at it. He has not gotten a hit in 12 atbats.
ReplyDeleteDoing not good YB.
ReplyDeleteWay to be Jeet!
Neck deep in Legal Studies work, tort law consumes my life, seriously fucking hate college at the moment. MGD and Spliff time soon.. Hows everyone else?
ReplyDeleteA bunt single for Jeter!!! 2 away from tying Lou, and 3 from breaking the record!!
ReplyDeleteAtta boy Captain!
Anon, Shutup! Jeter is the best shortstops of all time and you want him traded?
ReplyDeleteI say Jeter ties tonight.
ReplyDeleteAnon clearly has a tampax lodged up his ass.
ReplyDeleteAnon, WTF? Jeter deserves the MVP award, not to get traded you dumbass.
ReplyDeleteLook, I know you're Red Sox are about to loose the Wild Card, but I don't see that as a reason to come on here and talk lies and nonsense about the Yankees.
call that bunt an error on the pitcher. They know Jeter sucks.
ReplyDeleteI'm good Liam. Set to play my first game of the season on Saturday. I'm starting, if I didn't tell you.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Yankee fan jurk.
ReplyDeleteAnon, ya know what, just get a life!
ReplyDeleteWow, 300 steals for the Captain. I didn't even know he was nearing that record.
YB you play baseball? I use to play in high school, enjoy it, I miss it greatly.
ReplyDeleteCome on Teix, tie it back up.
ReplyDeleteYeah, ever since 1st grade. I'm in 8th grade now and play for my school team in the spring, but now I'm playing for an independent fall league.
ReplyDeleteGood for you YB, no you didn't tell me. I also have a game sat.
ReplyDeleteIf your a real yankee fan anon, you wouldn't be saying all of this stuff. I have no clue how red sox fans find this blog, but I bet you are the "Yankee Hater" that we ALL hate.
Ah the independent travel leagues, fun times.
ReplyDeleteWhen you play in the league you are on your home town's team. So I and my teamates represent all of my town.
ReplyDeleteI've been playing since I was three. My coach said I will play first this weekend.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Anonymous and I have a stick up my ass.
ReplyDeleteWe see that.
ReplyDeleteYeah. I started in 5th grade, been playing in it ever since.
ReplyDelete(there's age groups, so kids from 4th grade to 12th can play. I'm on the 13/14 yr old team.)
I'm paying in the Babe Ruth league, because i'm a good hitter and pitcher, as most of you know, but I can't pitch, as most of you know.
ReplyDeleteFirst was my old guard in HS, I remember a scout came to watch a kid pitch and told me he liked what I could do, but since I was a righty and not a lefty they had no interest, only scout I ever met.
ReplyDeleteI'm anon and I love men.
ReplyDeleteGood for you.
ReplyDeleteI <3 balls in my mouth.
ReplyDeleteCool Durden, I want a scout to come watch me play to someday. My coach says that I could be very successful when I get older.
ReplyDeletehaha anon enjoys being on the receiving end of a tea-bag, haha
ReplyDeletehey, how did you know?
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteI'm mainly the #2 starter for my team. But I also play 1st, 3rd, and catch.
ReplyDeleteI love catching especially. It's my favorite position next to pitcher. I use the Pudge Rodriguez model mitt. It's expensive but it's great and I've put it to good use.
I play every position but 2ed.
ReplyDeleteMy dream though is to become a broadcaster for YES, or, an even bigger dream - manage the Yankees.
ReplyDeleteMy coach actually let me manage a game last year. I loved it. I always watch Yankee games thinking what I would do in certain situations if I were manager.
Same. But the main positions I play as I said are 1st, 3rd, catcher, and pitcher.
ReplyDeleteI have 3 eyes, no balls, and a 1cm brain.
ReplyDeleteCool.
ReplyDeleteOk who wrote that?
ReplyDeleteI will give you one bit of advice for your training, Ride a damn bike! I wish I knew that one sooner, my last 2 seasons of HS ball I rode a bike most of the time instead of weight-lifting bc I bulked up as a Freshman and Sophomore but bc I bulked up I wasnt a base burner and my range was extremely limited. starting riding and it cleared all that up, started running faster, felt like my agility side to side was better and played better.
ReplyDeleteMichael Jackson was so nice to me, he even let me sleep in his bed with him!
ReplyDeleteNext year i'll probably be the #1 starter on the high school team. As Nick might of told you YB, I reahed 86 before my injury.
ReplyDeleteMichael Jackson is a pedophile
ReplyDeleteToo bad he's died though.
ReplyDeleteI still think its a hoax, he and tupac are planning a comeback tour.
ReplyDeleteYeah. He was kinda a weirdo but he made great music.
ReplyDeleteI did it with my 12 year old son.
ReplyDeleteThats called Rape anon.
ReplyDeleteWait who wrote that anyway? I didn't.
ReplyDeletejust stop anon, now ur being a ridiculous prick, even on the internet that one can still land u in hot water.
ReplyDeletewhere did Greg go?
ReplyDeleteSusan Waldman is great in bed.
ReplyDeleteYeah where did he go?
ReplyDeleteUp my ass.
ReplyDeleteMicheal Kay is also good in bed.
ReplyDeleteCrap it's almost 8. I gotta go guys.
ReplyDeleteSee ya Liam.
ReplyDeletescore?
ReplyDeleteG
2-0.
ReplyDeleteI'm back... Had to run upstairs for a few moments.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy guys, gotta review more of my Tort law then chill out and get some sleep, GO YANKEES!
ReplyDeleteLater Durden.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me this blog isn't this immature. First I am a different Anon then the one(s) above.
ReplyDeleteIts obvious whoever that is, is just trying to get a rise out of us, No one with any common sense would say what he is saying, yet he does because he knows it will get you fired up, Just ignore him, its no pint getting fired up at all. The more you respond the more he will come back.
Next posting as fake names can be fun, just ask me( Billy Mays, Erin Andrews, etc from the chats) but at least be somewhat funny with it. The last few posters as Anon have just come across as dumb with it and its not even remotely funny. We are here to discuss the yankees and there quest for #27, its fine to joke around but be funny with it.
Just my 2 cents. I know I am not some everyday poster and I don't use my real name but I follow the blog daily and the comments for in game threads are becoming stupid. Ignore the troll and let it die out.
I agree anon. Ignore the fool.
ReplyDeleteYeah.
ReplyDeletedude you are sick & need to be taken to a crazy mental asylum, you are a freak... & obviously need help,
ReplyDeleteSo what do you think of knit cap day? I hope it didn't sell out since the promo went up 5 min ago...
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jeet! He's now tied with Jeter..... Classy move by the Rays bench to applaud him.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad knit cap... I'd wear it.
ReplyDeleteI'm gone for an our and a half and theirs only 12 comments while i'm gone? Lets go TEX!
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
ReplyDelete2721!
ReplyDeleteTeixeira has been a joke lately.
ReplyDelete*hour
ReplyDeleteHe certainly has been tonight.
ReplyDeleteHow has he been a joke lately anon?
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to get on base the next two innings. How sweet would it be if Jeet hits a walkoff in the bottom of the ninth?
ReplyDeleteWell he has been tonight but not lately.
ReplyDeleteIt would be sweat Scott.
ReplyDeleteBJ Upton has reminded me of Manny Rameriz when he was with the Red Sux.
ReplyDeleteUpton doesn't know how to play the game the right way. He's playing to get on SportsCenter. Enough with the basket catches and show-boating, it's embarrassing
ReplyDeleteIt really is embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteHopefully A-Rod gets on base, he's been hot lately.
ReplyDeleteLooking at those old yankee stadium pictures are making me sick.
ReplyDeleteNice swing by A-Rod.
ReplyDeleteYea, now they need to beat up the pen.
ReplyDeleteWhy is Madden bringing up a righty?
ReplyDeleteNo idea... let me go look at the matchup numbers.
ReplyDeleteMatsui is 2-for-14 against Shouse, and 2-for-4 against Cormier. Very odd move.
ReplyDeleteYES, YES!!! I gotta go. See ya.
ReplyDeleteLater Liam.
ReplyDeleteIs John Sterling retarded?
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, what did he do now Scott?
ReplyDeleteI can't even describe it. His description of that last play was just bizarre. I can't figure out what the hell he was trying to say. Damn it sucks not having TV.
ReplyDeletehahahahhaha
ReplyDeleteThey better send Hairston... This has inning-ending double play written all over it. I love Jorge, but DP prone.
ReplyDeletehey guys whats up just checking in...right now all you need is the ball put in play and gardner is so tough to double up here why would you pinch hit posada whos more of a double play candidate? i know gardner hasnt been swinging the bat all that well since coming back but still...i hope im wrong by the end of this at bat haha
ReplyDeletePosada is 3-for-3 with a walk against Balfour. .... 2-for-6 with a walk against Shouse.
ReplyDeleteHey Kevin, Posada batting here worries me a bit too, unless Hairston can steal second.
ReplyDeleteWoops my bad, Hairston is at third.
ReplyDeleteHip hip!
ReplyDeleteSo much for the doubleplay.... WOOO HOOO!!!!
ReplyDelete3-run bomb by Jorge! Somewhere Anon weeps.
Ball 4... oh well hopefully next game.
ReplyDeleteWhy wasn't Mariano warming up?
ReplyDeleteIts because Girardi doesnt wanna use Mo 3 days in a row...
ReplyDeleteBRUNEY!!?!?!?!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteWhy Joe? WHY?!?!?!?!?
That's right, I forgot he pitched in the doubleheader.
ReplyDeleteI was so psyched to be there tonight. Jeter went 3-4 and tied the record. The place was electric and Posada's homer capped off the night.
ReplyDeleteDamn I love this team!!!
Congrats to Jeter! How funny is it that after all the big sluggers of the game got discredited that Jeter, who was always said to be overated, is now the defacto face of the game? Then again though even in 96 it was apparent that he could do great things in the game.
ReplyDelete
