  1. What did Duncan do?

    ReplyDelete
  2. Ran into the scrum and started trying to bash heads. The dude is a beast and I think he likes to fight. Oh well, not bad to have enforcers on your team. It works in hockey.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Yeah, BTW I had a great time with Jack today if you know what I mean.

    ReplyDelete
  4. ***BREAKING NEWS***

Joe Torre has passed away. He suffered a heart attack just about an hour ago.

    I can't believe this.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Jack, nobody cares about your nonsense, and nobody takes you seriously.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm not Jack. I'm being serious, Torre died. Go to mlb.com.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I've been on MLB.com, and there is nothing about Torre. You are Jack, and you are a liar.

  10. Well if he wasn't suspended, i'd love to see Duncan get a game in or at least maybe a pinch hit opportunity, kinda feel sorry for shelley, he's never gonna be a player on this team, bench or otherwise, he should be traded in the offseason so he can attempt to be an everyday player for some team

    ReplyDelete
  11. If you're going to bat Hairston second at least have him bunt when there's a man on first with nobody out. Stupid stupid managing. Thank goodness for Mark Teixeira.

    ReplyDelete
  12. This hasn't been brought up in a while, but do you think the Yanks will do anything to the new stadium to fix the home run thing?

It looked like as the weather heated up, the home runs went down.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I don't think they'll do anything. The park is actually built for the team they have now, and it's one of the reasons they've been so successful at home this year.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Yeah. You're right.

    2-0 on Matsui's RBI double.

    ReplyDelete
  15. F*** you wind!!! That would have been out if the wind didn't blow it back. Still 2-0 though.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think they might do something, but nothing drastic, maybe put more curve in the wall so its not so straight.

    ReplyDelete
  17. cant complain, happy that i didn't have much homework and can watch the game again tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  18. geez, melk made it close at least.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Angels beating Boston 1-0 in the top of the third.

    ReplyDelete
  30. If Liams friends come on here they will be talking all about it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. What's happening guys? Don't tell me: Gaudin is pitching a shutout and Hairston is 4 for 4 with two homers?

    ReplyDelete
  32. You should be scared of what you're saying anon, making up stories especially about peoples lives.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Oh. Tell his parents I feel bad for them...NOT!!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. You're right Karen. This kid, who I think is 12, doesn't understand Karma. He's setting himself and his family up for sad days ahead. It's a shame.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oh Christ, now this fool is pretending to be other people. Fantastic.

    ReplyDelete
  36. yeah yankeeboy he did.

    ReplyDelete
  37. anon YOU are sick, you should get help before it's too late. :(

    ReplyDelete
  38. Alright, that really hurts me Jack.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Hey Liam, glad to see you're in one piece.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yeah. That really hurts me.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Do you guys know what the stupidest thing is?

    ReplyDelete
  42. DING DING DING DING DING DING!!!!

    WE GOT A WINNER! lol

Nothing much Greg. I had to write a essay on a short story.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Red Sox are catching up, it's now 3-2.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I see we're losing again and Red Sox fighting back. Way to go with the lineup again Joe.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh, never mind Greg. I thought you said What's up Liam not Whats that Liam. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yanks gonna have to fight back. *cheering*

    ReplyDelete
  47. against the freaking Blue Jays. What's happened to this team?

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm a little tired guys. I'll probably go to bed. Hopefully i'm not dead when I get back. Hahaha. Later.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Hairston should have threw home. What is he doing!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hello all.

sox are ahead and the Yanks are playing flat.

WTF? Where is the life in this team? They better get it done tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  51. It's a joke Hairston is in the lineup at all. I'm sorry, but I could see this coming two weeks ago when Girardi starting messing with the lineup. Now we're paying the price.

    ReplyDelete
  52. our offense has fallen asleep WTF, come on cano, nice hit, thats our first hit in like 5 innings..

    ReplyDelete
  53. and now boston is winning 5-3, damit, come on guys,

    ReplyDelete
  54. fuck those niggers on the west side

    ReplyDelete
  55. they were like this in 1998.

    ReplyDelete
  56. why is hariston still hitting he sucks something awlful..

    ReplyDelete
  57. At least the Angels are winning 6-5 now...

    ReplyDelete
  58. hey greg someone needs to delete what mr annon just said,

    ReplyDelete
  59. is that a black sheep reference? who is this goon?

    ReplyDelete
  60. How the hell does Girardi leave Hairston in there? Has he lost the plot completely? He had to pinch hit with Damon or Hinske, surely.

    ReplyDelete
  61. another wasted opportunity, its your negative attitude ANONYMOUS & Posada's suspension, I 'm blaming you all, retards

    ReplyDelete
  62. someone has to teach anon a lesson.

    ReplyDelete
  63. who knows. what are you guys talking about anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  64. damon was used. he could go with hinske. but downs would come in if hinske did. hinske is o for 3 against downs.

    ReplyDelete
  65. I've officially had enough of Hairston. Girardi is hurting this team with these bullshit lineups

    ReplyDelete
  66. They can't beat the Blue Jays? They have lost 3 out of the last 5 to this team and this will make 4 out of 6. Pathetic.

Cashman is bozo the clown. This is exactly what you get for going into the last 3 months of the season with Joba rules, Gaudin and Mitre. Brilliant GM.

    ReplyDelete
  67. you guys need to calm down. yankees go on a skid, omg panic!!! relax.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Sorry, forgot about Damon being used already. But if Girardi had got his lineup right, Swisher would have been up in that spot.

    ReplyDelete
  69. He is. He got Mark Teixeira and CC Sabathia.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Great inning by Hughes. Now we need some late-inning magic.

Teix, A-Rod, and Hideki due up.

    ReplyDelete
  71. still guys, they were like this in 98. they'll get passed this.

    ReplyDelete
  72. theres no question in my mind that this is just a hiccup for the team right now. they'll return to form.

    ReplyDelete
  73. You're right Anon. The Yanks did go into a slump after clinching the East in '98.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I'm visiting friends in Boston this weekend. NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR THIS SHIT!!! IF THE YANKS DON'T WIN THIS GAME I'M GOING TO BE PISSED REGARDLESS IF BOSTON LOSES!

    ReplyDelete
  75. thanks yankeeboy. BTW, liams dead. have a good night gay guys.

    ReplyDelete
  76. When the manager manages like they've already won something, how do we expect the team to play any differently?

    ReplyDelete
  77. TIE GAME!!! 2-RUN HOMER BY GODZILLA!! 4-4!!!

    ReplyDelete
  78. GodZilla whacked the crap outta that one!

    ReplyDelete
  79. thank you godzilla... come swish, back to back baby, ur due

    ReplyDelete
  80. Matsui's certainly has to be making the Yankees think a little bit.

    ReplyDelete
  81. That could be the homer that jumpstarts the Yankees again.

    ReplyDelete
  82. It's just sad though, you know he won't be back next year regardless of what he does.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I wanna take a ride on your disco stick.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I remember reading somewhere that the Yankees should show Damon and Matsui the same 1 year 8 million dollar deal and whoever takes it 1st gets it.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Anon, I read the same article - forgot where though. But I definitely read that.

I really want to see Jeter hit a walk-off, just to see if he gets pied.

    ReplyDelete
  86. If he doesn't, I will immediately lose half my respect for him.

    ReplyDelete
  87. He will. If AJ pied A-Rod, he'll do it to Jeter.

    ReplyDelete
  88. greg,
getting a message board front, you should definatly get one and do the game threads in there, it would force someone to register to comment and weed out the assholes and massholes. bc you can suspend them or report them. it would also force lazy people like me to register.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I want to, but the good ones cost money and I'm pretty broke.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Well, it's set up for Jeet, as long as Mo holds it right where it is and Gardner doesn't jack one.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Registering? Not good for an Anon like me. This anon don't like to probably would

    ReplyDelete
  92. I was wondering something...do you think AJ will still give pies in the postseason?

    ReplyDelete
  93. damit MO, crap, that should have been an easy DP, damn ump ran right in front of MO,

    ReplyDelete
  94. Mo still needs 2 strikeouts for 1,000, no small feat by a reliever/closer

    ReplyDelete
  95. Where was that pitch? It looked good.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Thank God. And onto the 9th.

    Gardner, Jeter, Cervelli due up.

    ReplyDelete
  97. This is one of those times where Jeter needs to poke one over the short porch.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Man, 6 regular season games left in the new Yankee Stadium. Can't believe how quick this season has gone.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Me neither, but the real season hasn't even started yet.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Gardy singles to lead it off. And here comes the Captain.

    ReplyDelete
  101. dont make jeter bunt, let gardner steal, he can do it, dont take the bat out of jeters hands

    ReplyDelete
  102. 7-5 Angels in the 8th, but Boston has runners on 2nd and 3rd.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Let me know when Jerry is up. Gotta walk the dog.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Kay just said it... 7-6 now with a runner on third and two out.

Alright, no pie for Jeter but he moves the runner to third. He does all the things little things, doesn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  105. Well, it may not be Jeter, but Frankie Cervelli could be the hero..

    ReplyDelete
  106. It looks like Cervelli has changed his stance a bit, doesn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  107. MA-MA MIA! FRANKIE CERVELLI!! BALLGAME OVER!! YANKEES WIN!! THAAAAAAAAAAA YANKEES WIN!

    ReplyDelete
  108. YES!!!!!!!!!!!! Cervelli gets pie!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Super Cervio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  110. lol Cervelli, he was running away from his teamates!

    ReplyDelete
  111. YAY!!!!! hhahaha damn live streaming ahahaha keeps buffereing. lmao.

    ReplyDelete
  112. And all hope is restored in Yankees Universe. This team is fine.

    ReplyDelete
  113. i love cervelli's cleats, they look like old 50's style dress shoes, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  114. This is the best game I've seen in like a week.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Would be nice if the Sox lost too, but I'm more concerned with what we do.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Cervelli after being pied: "I love the moment."

    ReplyDelete
  117. Yep, the Yanks are just fine. They just needed some pie to lift their spirits.

Alright, night guys. I'm tired. Long day at school, long game, see ya tomorrow.

    GO YANKEES!!

    ReplyDelete
  118. Greg, just one more thing, you defenitely need to have a live chat during one of the Angels games this week.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Greg this site offers up free webhosting.

    http://www.000webhost.com/

    ReplyDelete
  120. Abreu gives the Angels the lead with a two-out RBI single. Nice!

    ReplyDelete
  121. Is anyone watching this Red Sox game? The Angels got screwed on two terrible calls. WOW. Nick Green knew he swung but neither the home plate or first base ump agreed. Then they called ball four on what was clearly strike three. Unreal.

The "ball four" was right down the middle.

I've never seen two more obvious calls, back-to-back, go the wrong way.

... And now the Sox win. Wow.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Yep, it was sickening. No way that wasn't a strike. Still, all we have to do is keep winning.

    ReplyDelete
  123. That was yet another example of pitiful umpiring. The Angels struck Green out twice!

Take a look at Green's face after his check swing. Even he knew he was out.

    ReplyDelete
  124. That's taken a little of the gloss off the Yanks win, but, hey, it would have been a lot worse had we lost!!!

    ReplyDelete
  125. I'm with you Greg I turned the game on to see the tail end and it made me absolutely sick. I've never seriously thought this before but after watching that ball four call it makes you wonder if umpires take favors.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I saw a bunch of ESPN cameras run on the field so maybe they paid the umps off. Am I kidding? Yes. But only a little.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Well if that's what it takes for the red sox to win games consider me still not intimidated by them

    ReplyDelete
  128. Greg,

You know, if you're short of funds to get this site on a host that would allow you to force guys to register and allow you to ban them if they get out of line, why not set up a donation "button" via PayPal or something like that. I know I'd contribute toward keeping this site one of the best ones out there for us Yankee fans. Just a thought, but you need to eliminate the folks who just like to sit around and stir things up.

    Mike

    ReplyDelete
  129. Hey Mike, Thanks, I'll think about doing that.

As for the anonymous idiot, it's this kid Jack who goes to Liam's school and roots for the Red Sox. I know he's annoying and from now on I'll try to delete his posts.

    ReplyDelete
