Hairston Signs With San Diego

The Padres have signed Jerry Hairston Jr. to a one-year deal for $2.125 million. A nice pickup for a guy who will play 3B, 2B, SS and OF.

Too bad the Yanks didn't sign him. Good luck in San Diego, Jerry.
