Irondequoit’s Cito Culver has signed a professional contract with the New York Yankees, with a reported bonus of nearly $1 million.
“We are very excited to get Cito signed so quickly and get him out on the field to begin his development as a Major League prospect,” said Damon Oppenheimer, vice president of amateur scouting for the Yankees.
Apparently, he's so happy to be a Yankee that he even shaved the
interlocking NY onto his head.
