Gary Sanchez to Miss Remainder of Season

So long as the break heals properly (a reasonable expectation), this should not have any long-term ramifications. On the season, Sanchez produced the following line in 343 PA:
.256/.335/.485, 17 HR, 2 SB, 36 BB, 93 K, .364 wOBA, 121 wRC+
At face value, Sanchez's production may not have met the lofty expectations that his 2010 season birthed ... but one must bear in mind that Sanchez was among the five youngest players at his level throughout the season. And, for what it's worth, his wOBA was twenty-one percent above league-average, which is a fine showing for most any prospect.
