Pettitte to Make Extended Spring Start on Monday

From Lou DiPietro:
After finishing a strong week with a successful bullpen session on Friday morning, Andy Pettitte has been scheduled to start an Extended Spring Training game for the Yankees on Monday.

Pettitte...threw a 45-pitch bullpen session at the Yankees’ facility in Tampa Friday and reported no issues.

He will now take the mound on Monday to face a Phillies Minor-League squad, and Yankees manager Joe Girardi said that Pettitte told him on Thursday night that his arm felt great.
It seems like everything is moving along smoothly for Pettitte. It's expected that he'll throw a handful of extended spring training starts. After that, I assume he'll have a rehab stint in the minors, and then it's on to The Bronx.
