Dominican Winter League
- Melky Cabrera (Aguilas) went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, two RBI, and three runs scored.
- Wilkins Arias (Aguilas) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, did not allow a baserunner and struck out one.
- Oneli Perez (Licey) pitched a scoreless inning, walking one and striking out one.
Mexican Pacific League
- Ramiro Pena (Culiacan) went 1-for-5 with a RBI. He's now hitting .268 in Mexico.
Puerto Rican Winter League
- Jonathan Albaladejo (Mayaguez) picked up his 12th save of the winter. He faced one batter and retired him on a strikeout.
- Bernie Williams (Gigantes) went 0-for-1. He's now 1-for-7 in his first three games.

Dominican League: Robinson Cano and Wady Rufino are playing for Estrellas de Oriente. Melky Cabrera and Wilkins Arias are playing for Aguilas Cibaenas. Abraham Almonte is playing for Leones del Escogido. And Oneli Perez and Amaury Sanit are playing for Tigres del Licey.
Puerto Rican League: Ian Kennedy and Jonathan Albaladejo are on Indios de Mayaguez. And Bernie Williams will play for Gigantes de Carolina.
Mexican League: Ramiro Pena and Jorge Vasquez are playing for Tomateros de Culiacan. And Walter Ibarra is on Naranjeros de Hermosillo.
Venezuelan League: Francisco Cervelli, Edwar Gonzalez and Carlos Mendoza are playing for Cardenales de Lara. And Edgar Soto and Luis Nunez are on Aguilas del Zulia.

Do you know if Cano is done?
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention that the Dominican league playoffs have begun. His team did not qualify, so yes I believe he's done.
ReplyDeleteDamn, he fell off pretty bad towards the end after such a hot start. Do you think we should have some concern or do you think that its just normal because he was messing with a new stance and approach.
ReplyDeleteI'm not going to get too concerned about it. He might have been trying new things, or just got into a slump without enough time to get out of it. Who knows. He's got a ton of talent so I think he'll be fine next year.
