  3. Definitely. And his velocity was good too . His 4-seamers were 94-95.

  4. No runs in the first, what a concept.

  5. Nice, what a break.

Great heads up play by Jeter.

  6. So Joba figures out the first but can't pitch in any other innings now. Great.

  7. Looks like Teixeira is over his slump.

  8. THROW STRIKES JOBA!

  9. In other news, Swisher is really struggling but I still love him.

  10. Yep, I can deal with the solo homers, but not the walks.

  11. Yep, Swisher has looked awful lately. He's hitting .111 with 18 srike outs this month.

  12. I'm drunk already.. GO YANKEES

  13. Joba is killing himself with these walks. Watch Morneau hit a two-run bomb now.

  14. He's afraid of them.. just throw 97 and see what happens.

  15. Girardi won't let him finish this inning.

  16. Good job getting out of that. Now hopefully the Yanks can put a few more on the board.

  17. A-Rod needs his steroids.

  18. GAY ROD.. ha I amuse myself

  19. VERAS??!?!?! AHHHHHHH

    ReplyDelete
  20. He really is brutal to watch. The guy's stuff is electric and he can't throw strikes... And there's the leadoff walk.

  21. Brian Bruney where art thou? At least Joba won't get the loss.

    ReplyDelete
  22. He'll be back this week. I just hope they get out of this inning with a tie.

  23. Great job by Coke.

  24. Yup sure was. I thought they had no chance getting out of that inning with the lead. Shows what I know.

  25. I'm glad he got the hit yesterday, but Melky is dumbass.

  26. Tex's breakout game. Great to see him coming around. let's see arod do something now.

  27. You could slowly see him coming out of it lately, and you're right, today was the breakout game.

    Come on A-Rod!

    ReplyDelete
  28. do you know why swisher looks up before every pitch?

    ReplyDelete
  29. tex and arod. hopefully much more of that to come...

  33. Great game. I had a good feeling about this one. Tex had a great game and ARod's homer was just what the doctor ordered.

Nice to see the Yanks on a roll.

  34. Ahhh, thanks for clearly that up, Anon.

Now they gotta keep it up, Crossfire. Hopefully Burnett can get back to how he threw in his first two starts.

Two things about today; Mo looked great, and Aceves needs to be moved ahead of Veras and Edwar in the bullpen.

  35. WOW Teixeira carried the team today.

Swisher, Cano, Melky, Gardner and Cervilli were 0 for 18 today.
