  1. Tonight's lineup:

    Brett Gardner CF
    Melky Cabrera RF
    Johnny Damon LF
    Jorge Posada DH
    Robinson Cano 2B
    Eric Hinske 3B
    Juan Miranda 1B
    Francisco Cervelli C
    Ramiro Pena SS

    A typical post-clinching lineup.

  2. Now Girardi needs to balance resting his players and still keeping them sharp this week.
He has been pretty good at that though throughout the entire season.

They have Thursday off and they have 2 days off after the last regular season game before the postseason starts.

  3. Yea, I'll probably just watch Monday Night Football or the Tigers-Twins game.

  4. I said this a while back and then I heard it today on the FAN.

Yankee fans should hope that the Twins win three out of four against the Tigers and ultimately that the two teams end up in a tie and are forced to play a playoff game against each other. This would burn their game one starter.
