Stupid Mets Fans
I know this is almost a month old, but while recently browsing the new Yankees videos up on Youtube and stumbled across this. It's a pretty funny video from the final play of the Luis Castillo game. Watch the idiot Met fan in the seat just to the right of the camera man, you really can't miss him.... "Put it in the books! Put it in the books! .... Wait, what? What happened?!?!" ..... Tool.

What about those tools dressed as umpires sitting right behind home plate during the Yankees Toronto game on friday july 3rd. did you see those idiots playing umpire for a few innings? how stupid was that?
Those dudes have been at several games this year, and not only Yankees games.
Either way, Mets fans still are stupider.
I don't mind the fake umps. They've even made Sportcenter. Just think of how much those front row, behind the plate seats must have cost!
I wonder if it distracts the pitchers in any way since they are used to throwing towards only one ump...
This might have been one of the greatest games I've ever been to. Looking at the faces of all the Mets fans as we left the stadium chanting "Luis Castillio, MVP!" Priceless.

I read somewhere that the 2 guys dressed as umpires were given those seats by the Yankees. They have been asked to appear at other stadiums as well and the home team sets them up in those seats at every ball park.
I wish the guy recording would have got his reaction afterwards and said "What was that asshole?"

My first thought was; "You got your wish buddy... because it's in the books... and on Yankees Classics."
I love the fact that on his second time screaming it, he only got out "Put it in the..." before he gets stunned look on his face.
You know that look...
I bet it is the exact same look he had on his face back in Game 1 of the 2000 World Series when Todd Zeile hit a long fly ball.
That dumb mets fan was likely jumping around and screaming just like that, thinking it was a homer...
just like Timo Perez was. LOL
Then ultimately the mets fan had that same stunned look when Perez was thrown out at the plate by Jeter.
