Here is some of the article from the NY Times:
...Knoblauch, who will turn 40 in July, stood on Thursday in front of his spacious home in a Houston suburb, he appeared physically fit and almost oblivious to the uproar the Mitchell report has created. Dressed in a 2002 United States Open tennis T-shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes, he declined to comment on the report’s allegations that he began using H.G.H. in 2001, his final season in the Bronx. He said he had not talked to Clemens or Pettitte, both of whom live in the Houston area.“I have nothing to defend,” Knoblauch said. “I have nothing to hide at the same time.”
He described the Mitchell report as both “crazy” and “interesting,” and added that what actually bothered him about being mentioned in the report is that “I’ve got nothing to do with any of that, I mean, any baseball.”
“And I don’t want anything to do with baseball,” he added.
Asked if he will talk to the committee, Knoblauch said: “Yeah, if I have to do that, then what are you going to do?”
“I love baseball,” he said, “but I’m not trying to get a job in baseball. I don’t have any friends from baseball. Baseball doesn’t control my life anymore.”
“Mad about it? No,” he said. “You know what? One of my strongest characteristics is not really caring what people think. I’m living my life. It’s not going to change my life one way or the other. You know, I’m not trying to get in the Hall of Fame. I got one vote though.”
I understand he wants a life outside of baseball, and there's nothing wrong with that, but it would be nice if he at least pretended to give a damn. Even if you don't mean it, at least say you may have made a mistake, and take the high road. You only make yourself seem like a piece of garbage when you act like don't care. I guess you can give him a little credit for not denying it, and saying he loves the game. So good job there Chuck, but you still came off like a dirt bag.
One thing I found interesting what his "crazy" comment. I wonder why he thinks the Mitchell Report was "crazy". Is it because of how many players were mentioned, or how few? I really would like to know what he meant by this.

If the steriods were so good, how come most of the players listed in the Mitchell report are scrubs?
If the steriods were so good, how come Knobby couldn't throw from 2nd to 1st?
