I have the radio schedule on New York Yankees Update and I linked to you for the TV line up.

I wish they would broadcast at least two or three more. Eventually they should thin about broadcasting at least every home game.

For those of us out-of-towners, do you know if the Extra Innings package will cover spring training games?

Since they do have their own network shouldn't they be broadcasting every game instead of filling programing with such classic moments like Giambi's 2003 home run against the Twins in May?

Anon and Danny: Broadcasting every ST game is overkill. Road games are nearly worthless, as most of the good players don't go.

Plus, you really don't want to oversaturate the product during the spring. If you show every game, there's diminishing returns on demand. People aren't going to watch a lot of exhibition games, and they are somewhat expensive to produce, so the cost vs. return isn't good enough.

I don't really care that they don't show every game. I personally would like to see the younger kids when they play, but I totally understand the fact that it just doesn't make sense for them to televise the entire ST schedule.

the last two games on that schedule are exhibition games at the new Yankee Stadium.

The Yesnetwork wont air every spring training game for 2 main reasons:
1.) the only spring training game anyone cares about is the first, and
2.) the network will still be airing Nets games from the IZOD Center(and away games)
