Gardner with a great game. Ransom too he did a great job last year after he was called up. Ransom should be the favorite to win the utility infielder position over Berroa.

Hey Greg,

Just got back from the Yanks Twins game in Ft. Myers. Kennedy looked just okay. He was a little wild with the change-up and threw it in the dirt a bunch. The box would have you think he was a bit sharper than he was but it is the first week of spring training. The absolute HIGHLIGHT was Gardner. The guy was such a spark plug today...He was diving in the OF, stole 2 bases, big gap double..and a great AB that he drew a walk out of..Melky looked as if it was a foregone conclusion that he has lost his CF job already...

I see Peter, but like you said it's very early in the spring.

As for Gardner this is why I think he should start. The Yankees have needed a player like this for a long time.
