Kearns or Repko Could Replace Nady?

Well, according to George King they could (hat-tip to MLB Trade Rumors):
The Dodgers might be willing to trade Jason Repko, a 28-year-old with above average speed and a little pop. The Nationals are said to be entertaining offers for Austin Kearns.
So far this year Kearns is just hitting .167/.310/.375 with a homer and four RBI. Last year also a struggle for Kearns as he hit just .217/.311/.316 with seven homers and 32 RBI. His last solid year was 2007 when he hit .266/.355/.411 with 16 homers and 74 RBI.

Repko is hitting .270/.349/.649 with three HR, four RBI and five steals for the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes. And in 424 major league at-bats spread across three seasons he's hitting .229/.300/.375 with 11 HR, 46 RBI and 16 stolen bases.

Neither of these guys sound like that great of an option but if the Yankees don't have to give up anything of value, I guess I wouldn't mind the move. Adding a little depth is never a bad thing.

if anything bad happens to Matsui I could see them making a run at Magglio Ordonez if the Tigers are out of the race

Kearns and Repko stink.. between the 2 I would take Kearns, he's had acouple of decent years.

Kearns is making a lot of money Nationals are looking to give him away. Honestly I dont like either players.

I rather bring up Shelly Duncan. He a lot of right handed pop which the team needs right now. He had a great spring training and he is playing great in the minors right now. I dont understand bringing up Miranda we dont need another left hand hitter.

Yeah, either of them would be a nice pickup, but what's wrong with Swish? He's better than both of them.

P.S. *BREAKING NEWS*

Anthony Clagget has been called up to New York. No news on the corresponding move.

I forgot to read that part. Depth would be nice if we could get one of them.
