Down Come the Foul Poles

Images used with permission from WCBS880.com.

This pictures come to us from WCBS880's Tom Kaminski in Chopper 880. There's another shot here. For the main demolition page, click here.

Speaking of new stadiums, check out there gallery on the new Meadowlands Stadium going up in East Rutherford. Looks pretty cool.

Is there any word on when they plan to actually take the Stadium down?

I haven't heard anything, but I'm guess it will be within the next few months.

Pretty sure they'll start pulling apart the upper deck soon

Greg or anyone...you guys know a free live streaming of the yanks game? I hate not seeing the game in action. sigh!

I don't believe that there is anything free Karen because MLB sells the game packages.

I think its only $10 or so for this last month

any word on what they are doing with the foul poles? I would buy a piece if they sold it.

They're definitely selling them. If you want one you should contract Steiner Sports. They're the ones selling all the Stadium stuff.

I'm feeling bad for my Giants. I never went to a game becaus ethey are too expensive, but they are losing their first two homes around the same time (YS and GS).

Their seat licenses in the new stadium certainly are not garnering any sympathy from me.

Anyway thanks guys and thanks for the thoughts yankeefan91. :)

I believe you have to pay for that site Anon. She's probably better off just signing up for the MLB.TV package for the rest of the year.

Gotta love WCBS who wont allow us to post these very same pictures...

Check out slingbox. I use that at school all the time and anywhere I go when the game is on. If you have an internet connection at home and you get the game at home your good. Picture and sound quality is great.

I have no idea why that is Joe. I've corresponded with them several times via email. They only have a problem when I forgot to link back to them.
