Marte Leaves Game After Being Hit With A Line Drive

In today's game against the Phillies, left-hander Damaso Marte was hit in the lower back by a line drive off the bat of Ryan Howard. According to those in attendance, he was clearly in pain and was forced to leave the game. Not the best spring debut for Marte, who also allowed 3 runs on 4 hits without retiring a batter.

The good news is that Marte is fine. According to Bryan Hoch, the only lasting injury is a large bruise.
