According to Chad Jennings, Alex Rodriguez was lifted from today's game after going into the manager’s office and telling Joe Girardi that his groin was sore. He said it bothered him before the game and got a little worse as the game went on. It doesn't appear to be anything serious and he was even going to hit if he came up in the ninth. When asked about his status, Alex said he'll be ready to go on Tuesday when the Yankees open up a series with the O's in Baltimore.
