Six Yankees prospects were picked today in the Rule 5 draft, the most of any franchise.
AA shortstop Reegie Corona was picked by the Seattle Mariners. Corona hit .274/.345/.365 with 3 HR, 39 RBI, and 24 SB for Trenton.
AA right hand starter Ivan Nova was picked by the San Diego Padres. Nova was 8-13 with a 4.36 ERA in 26 games (24 starts) for Tampa
AA right hand starter Jason Jones was picked by the Minnesota Twins. Jones went 13-7 with a 3.33 ERA in 25 starts for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He also made two starts for Trenton and went 0-1 with a 2.38 ERA.
And AAA right hander reliever Zach Kroenke was picked by the Florida Marlins. Kroenke was 7-0 with a 2.85 ERA in 41 games for Trenton and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (mostly Trenton).
Each player taken in the MLB phase costs a team $50,000 and must stay on their 25-man roster for the whole season or be offered back to the original club. So the Yankees made $200,000 and there is a good chance that some of these guy will be coming back.
Two Yankees were picked in the triple-A phase. RHP Josue Salinas was picked by the A's and LHP Andres Santos. Salinas was picked by the Pirates.

Not all of then were picked up in the Major League phsae. Only Corona and Nova I believe. So the others don't need to be on the Major league 25 man and don't cost $50,000.
Baseball America has those players listed under the Major League phase of the draft.
RHP Josue Salinas and LHP Andres Santos were both picked in the AAA phase. Salinas was picked by the A's and Santos was picked by the Pirates.
