Yanks Clear Front-Runners To Get Burnett

From Ken Rosenthal:
Burnett's representatives were expected to contact interested clubs Thursday, giving them one last chance to beat the Yankees offer of five years and approximately $85 million.
The big question now is will the Braves counter. Buster Olney said earlier in the day that the Yankees are confident they will not be outbid for Burnett. A deal could go down very soon.

AJ Burnett is the second coming of Carl Pavano. He only pitches in his walk year.
