Why are there poles in front of the expensive seats? I hope there aren't going to be nets to protect the rich people.

The polls are to hold up nets during batting practice to protect fans as they find their seats. They take the polls down once BP ends. They have them at the old stadium too.

Is it me or does the Stadium looks like a long way from being finished, specially in the inside part ?

btw, great blog Greg, even popular in Paris. :)

^^ What do you see on the inside that makes you think it's "a long way from being finished"?

I know most Yankee fans haven't been following the construction of the new stadium since they began in 2006. Most get pictures are and there but haven't really followed it.
Most of it is already done if you've been paying close attention.
Your talking about little finishing touchings here and there that aren't done yet.
And they have plenty of time (a month and a half) to get it done.

your right most people have not been following the construction process. The stadium is done. All thats left is the cleaning process

honestly, i think it looks good. probably the only thing i would really change about the new yankee stadium is the outfield. i would change the resturant being in center field, and i would change the scoreboard so u can see more from the 4 train. and i would take down the massive "yankee stadium" sign from inside and in front of the stadium. i think it looks better without them. but that's me!

oh yeah, and add more seats.

Yeah, you don't need that stupid yankee stadium sign on the score board, you already know want the place is called anyway.
