BP's Yankees Team Health Report

Last year I posted this about Will Carroll's Yankees health report. He rates players' injury risk on a scale of red, yellow, and green—red being the highest risk of injury and green being the lowest.

As a reminder here are his ratings from last season:
Green: Melky Cabrera, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Robinson Cano, and Bobby Abreu

Yellow: Jorge Posada, Hideki Matsui, Johnny Damon, Andy Pettitte, Chien-Ming Wang, Ian Kennedy, Mike Mussina

Red: Joba Chamberlain, Phil Hughes, Mariano Rivera

As you can see, all three of the red players came down with an injury at some point. Rivera, however, played through it.

Six of the seven yellow players were injured at some point as well (Damon, Pettitte, Matsui, Wang, Kennedy, and Posada) and two of the five green players got injured (Jeter and A-Rod).

Today, Ross over at New Stadium Insider posted this year's edition. He has a nice post over on his blog that's definitely worth the read, go check it out.

The players who got red ratings this year were Jorge Posada, Johnny Damon, Hideki Matsui, A.J Burnett, Andy Pettitte, and Mariano Rivera. Hopefully Carroll isn't as accurate this year as he was last year.
