Yanks Add Traber to 40-Man Roster
Peter Abraham reports that left-handed reliever Billy Traber has been added to the Yankees 40-man roster. To make room the Yankees placed pitcher Andrew Brackman, who is recovering from TJ surgery, on the 60-day DL.
Traber has been the most impressive lefty this spring and unless the Yankees trade for Damaso Marte he will probably make the 25-man roster to start the year. This spring Traber has pitched in 5 games and is 1-0, with a save, he hasn't given up a run (although he did allow three inherited runners to score the other day), and has only allowed 3 hits while walking none and striking out 5.
